Just came from another dentist to get a crown fixed that was initially put on by Broadaway. Turns out that it was never put on properly. The tooth was ground down too far so that the crown merely sat on top. In addition, the root canal was never filled properly. I was told that I was lucky that the crown had not come off sooner and that I had not gotten an infection in the cavity. Now in order to fix the problem, I have to have the tooth extracted and an implant put in. I believe that Broadaway should be responsible for the cost of the implant since he is clearly responsible for the situation that now requires it. However, people like him never are responsible, and I'm sure that he will continue to scam others. more

Dr Derrick Broadway is the worst dentist in the state of Virginia. Beware!!!! his office manager Joyce Davis is very rude, unprofessional, ill mannered and disrespectful. I would not recommend anyone I know or even anyone I disliked to go to this dentist. Overpriced, crude, poor staff and a very dirty office please people run, run, run away! Lets see how long he will be in business.... more

At the bottom of the article look for Derrick Broadway Board of Dentistry File. His bouncing paychecks was just the tip of the iceberg, the article also goes into law suits. more

DONT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!!!! Dont let the fancy tv's and decor fool you. That is were your money is going to and not the QUALITY OF WORK OR PATIENT CARE. Seems like he SUCKS in the CROWN department and you will either wind up with an abscess, root canal, or total removal of your tooth you got crowned. I am reporting him to VBD and insurance company. Keep googling and you'll find out more! more

emergency visit 7/5/2011

Dr. Broadaway was awesome!!!! I was visiting from out of town during a holiday weekend and my tooth needed a root canal. Dr. Broadaway was there for me and took care of my tooth. My root canal was completed with the best experience I have ever had at the dentist. Words just can't express how appreciative I am! Everyone at his office were so nice! Horrible dental work 2/18/2011

I had I believe 6 teeth capped/crowned by Dr. Broadaway in the last 8 years. I have one all ready pulled because it was not set properly and the bone deteriorated away. Now I have an infection in another tooth done by Dr. Broadaway that is infected and can not be repaired. It has to be pulled. The last crown done by Dr. Broadaway, I had to go to another dentist to remove the excess adhesive after going back to Dr. Broadaway to get him to correct the poor job. If you want to keep your teeth, go somewhere else. more
