Dr. David R. Fett, MD

This review is for Dr Fett and/or his new name Eyelid Surgery LA. I was interested in a l.bleph and I stressed that it be done conservatively. I should've just listened to my gut and cancelled because he was just way too aggressive in removing the fat. I've gone from soft natural looking eyes to eyelids that have now fallen into two big ugly pits and an orbital bone that's now very exposed making me look hard, ill, and older. Plus, my eyes are constantly red and irritated now too. Afterwards, when I complained I was just ignored and treated with complete indifference. I've since been seen by an Oculoplastic Doctor (Dr Hoenig) in Beverly Hills trying to undo the damage. We've tried Restylane with not the best results.Unlike Dr Fetts description of it as a ""simple repair"" or ""easy"" I've found that a botched fat removal lower bleph is instead extremely difficult to impossible to fix with fillers as it was in my case. No Dr that actually does it or patient that I know of would actually describe it that way either. In my experience, the only real ""fix"" is to avoid the problem in the first place ie Drs like Fett. For your own sake TALK to REAL people first and do REAL research. This easily was the worst decision of my life and I don't wish this misery on anyone else. more

Thank G-d I have been a patient of Dr. Fett for more than 10 years and am very happy with all the care I have received for several different complex problems. He is a very intelligent and caring physician and has performed reconstructive and cosmetic surgery on me and many of my friends over the last decade. He and his office dedicate themselves to providing the best care available and as an example, Dr. Fett himself takes all his own call. One time I called him at 1 AM on a Friday night after an accident and he himself called back within 10 minutes and fixed my lacerated eyelid in his surgery center later that night. There was no hesitation whatsoever to see me right away. At 2 AM he had a reassuring smile on his face when he met me and fixed me. He is a wonderful doctor with a wonderful staff. more

god help anyone who goes to him I went to him for a simple eyelid surgery,He has difigured me left scars to the bone cant see right eyes stick to eyelids or run all the time eyes wont close all the way and stay wide open at night due to nerves been cut eye bone is numb and then painfull and headaches follow where i have to put my head under pillow and lay down he has disfigured me i will never be the same he took out fat and now i look worse than i did way worse i have another doctor who cant fix what he has done more operations which are trial and error no way how is this dr allowed to keep doing this there is no money in the world that is worth what i am still going through ., he seems very nice but if you have a problem he turns on you he sent letter 2 days ago saturday saying i was no longer his patient well that is fine this is not over and if you post on here he has a way of taking it off if it is bad. his staff is been posting good results if you are on medical and medicade watch you bills close ,I wish he looked and felt all our pain as i have noticed i am not the only one i am going to work on him until he and i work a deal so i can pay for my eyes to be done by the best dr in the us he wont be in pratice if we all can help it ,dr fett it would be wise to call me before things start to happen so we can discuss a options freedom of speech ammendment you cant say you dont know me this is tracy m surgery dates feb and dec more

I am a Dentist, and I know what good and qualitywork is and is not. And Dr. Fett did surgery on my upper and lower eyelids. I see hundreds of patients a week and they say that I look younger and more rested than ever!!!!! I highly recommend him! more

I was referred to Dr. Fett by another eye doctor after another surgeon removed some fat from my lower eyelids. They looked a little sunken, hollow and wrinkled. Dr. Fett fixed them with a simple 20 minute operation and now they look much better. He tightened the skin and put in a little filler and now the lower lids look great. My crows feet even look better and at the same time he did some filling in at the lines between my nose and mouth. It was all very easy. more

Excellent doctor!! I have been going to Dr. Fett for years and have always had the most wonderful experience. He did my upper lids last January and the results were nothing short of a miracle, I look so much younger and brighter. This past March he did under my eyes and the results were fantastic. This office and doctor Fett come off nice until you have a surgery there with a bad result like I did. I had a blepharoplasty done there and had a very poor outcome. Too much fat was removed to the point where my eyes are sunken and very aged looking now. more

I am very sorry that I ever went to Dr. David Fett. He disfigured me and while he admits. ""I made a mistake"", he is not sorry nor accountable for his actions. He has ruined my life. Stay away from Doctors who need to advertise in a newspaper in order to get clients. He knows what he did. more

I just have wonderful things to say about Dr. Fett. Dr. Fett has given me my life back as a happy teenage girl. I was born with ptosis of my left eye and I have undergone several surgeries to try to repair my eyelid with very little success. I did my research and came across Dr. Fett as one of the best eyelid surgeons. I went to him as my last hope to look like a ""normal"" teenage girl and definetly have succeeded. I now have beautiful looking eyes and for the first time people are noticing my gorgeous blue eyes. I am no longer teased or pointed at for looking different.
