Dr. David R. Fett, MD

I went to Dr. Fett because he stated on his website that he often fixes mistakes done by other doctors - therefore, I thought he was probably better than most. He performed upper and lower eyelid surgery on me. After waiting six months to see the final results, it immediately became apparent that he did not take out enough tissue on the left eye and that it sagged. I called the office, stating that I would like this fixed. They informed me that I would have to pay the $1,200 anesthesiologist's fee. I stated that they had told me at my consultation that they would repair anything if it was apparent it was the doctor's fault. They never mentioned an additional fee. Dr. Fett even commented that the left eye needed more attention. I didn't understand why I would have to pay when it was the doctor's fault. It's bad enough to have to have another surgery and suffer through it. I am in customer service and if I do something wrong, I have to fix it for free. I have asked the doctor and his office numerous times for a reduction in the fee to fix this and they are now completely ignoring me. I either have to live with one eye looking completely different, or I am going to have to have someone else fix it for a large sum of money. Doesn't seem fair to me. I highly advise you go elsewhere. Outstanding. I love my eyes. I am so happy that I went to see Dr. Fett. He did an incredible job on my uppereyelids. Finally I can put eyeliner and eyeshadow on. The staff was very helpful in every way. more

I went to Dr. Fett after a number of people at work recommended him. A few of those saw him to repair other doctor's work. Great doctor, great staff, great experience. Specialty is eyes not tummy tucks, breasts, etc. and so far haven't seen him in an infomercial. He did an upper eyelid lift and tear duct surgery. I was very apprehensive but glad I went ahead with the proceedures. Recovery was painless and quick. My girlfriend loves the results. No problems whatsoever. Going back to have my lower lids ""pinched"" soon. I'll send an update. Excellent Dr. in my opinion. UPDATE 12/29/05 Had my lower eyelids done last week. Another excellent experience.
