This place is a joke. They have the 8/1/2013

This place is a joke. They have the highest documentation fee in that area for Nissan. Also if you get suckered into buying a vehicle here you will have to wait super long before going into the business office and once your in there it can take over an hour and half before you come out. I recommend Action Nissan or Cool Springs Nissan where you can buy the same vehicle for less money and pay a lower documentation fee. more

STAY AWAY FROM THEIR SERVICE DEPT. !! 5/13/2012

This is my very first time ever writing a bad review but this place warrants it. I sent my car in to be serviced for a slight hesitation issue. I was told that a certain part needed to be replaced. I'm not too keen on the part so I say go ahead and do it. I was told there was not enough time to repair it that day and said fine Ill come back the following day. They try to discourage me by telling me it would be best to leave the car there. I tell them I don't have a way home and to give me my car. Well, when they bring the car back around its jerking worse then before and not only that, the check engine light is now FLASHING (wasn't even on before). The car is not drivable. I'm forced to leave it. They fix the misfire issue and give me back my car the next day only to find that now the check engine light is on for something else (another misfire issue). I smell something is up and demand my car back. I take it to a nearby nissan dealership. 2 things nashville nissan quote me on I didn't need (would have been $500). Another recommendation they made I didn't need (would have been $1000). Turns out I didn't even need the repair that I paid for. All I needed were spark plugs!! STAY AWAY from this place...PLEASE! ALSO...They tried to sell me new valve covers. They didn't know I had them replaced only 15k ago. I immediately reported this to the other nissan dealership that did my valve covers. I now have in writing that Nashville Nissan lied when they said I have leaky valve covers. This complaint is going straight to nissan corp.! more

They are dishonest, they will lie to you. 1/25/2011

This is the dealership that your mother warned you about. They will smile to your face and stab you in the back when your guard is down. more

New GM is as dishonest as the owner. 1/25/2011

So Jumpin Joe Johnson moves here from Louisiana and he brings Louisiana style of doing business. I know becuase I use to work in Lousiana and the people there will smile to your face and stick it in good once they have your trust. Joe Johnson is no different. I heard someone say that if you shake hands with him check to see if the rings are still on your fingers. I stronlgy suggest that you avoid this dealership. There are better deals to be had and better people to deal with in Nashville. more

Do not go here under any circumstances!!!! 10/16/2010

Where should I start. I totalled my car on a Saturday and knew they had a new vehicle coming out. The Salesman didn't know anything about it. What they could tell me was the one I wanted was to be delivered to FL in one month. I said I need one now and Find versa and I need it in 24hrs. After Convincing them to dealer search. They found one, and when I said go get it. From then til the time I drove off it was 28 hrs which was after the dealership closed and I could have drove there and back as it was only two hrs away. I had to put the first tank of gas as the delivery person left me with 1/8 of a tank. They said it would only take 10 mins in the finance office tomorrow. Well I waited 30 minutes to only to spend another 30 in the finance office. Needly to say I spent my entire luch break trying to get the financing done. more

terrible experience 8/25/2009

When my car got totalled two weeks before i was supposed to go back to college I began immediately looking for a car. I was hoping to find a used car with a warranty and could not afford to do very high payments. I was so shocked when I was told I was approved for a brand new Versa. After haggling for an hour (they really wanted me to put an extra thousand down and pay almost $100 more a month because college kids have soo much money) they brought me an offer signed ""Happy early graduation"" with a smiley face and I left in a brand new car. They said they'd hold my check for two weeks till my insurance paid and that I had done very well for myself for being so young and able to do such a thing. I was thrilled with the car and so proud of myself for being able to afford it. A week later after I'd moved into school and classes were starting I got a phone call asking some questions that make me wonder about the legitimacy of my credit app that they filled out and I was told that I was not actually approved and that they had sent me away on a pre-approval basis. When I got upset I was told that they were getting a headache, ha!!! After a week of back and forth (get a cosigner, no don't get one, dispute this on your credit, etc) I had to drive 200 mi in on my first weekend back at school to deal with the situation. I had to wait 2 hours to speak to finance and then had to clean my car out in the parking lot on a busy Saturday in front of two employees (as if I were some sort of criminal) and anyone looking out the window and wait for a ride to pick me up. They didn't give me my check when I asked for it multiple times and they didn't even offer me a Kleenex while I was crying. I was absolutely humiliated for no reason at all except they wanted to sell a car, not to mention I still get a headache when I think about the stress they caused. more

Watch out for them...very dishonest in their dealings. 7/18/2009

Watch out during the negotiations, they will try to hide charges and overbill you. Especially with leases!! Pros: Nice Salesperson Cons: Sales Manager tries to hide extra costs more

Downtown Nissan will NOT get my business. 7/14/2009

I, also, would not recommend Downtown Nissan to anyone. While my salesperson, Jason, was extremely helpful and seemed to WANT to sell me a car the managers were not as interested in selling a car. When I asked if they could give the numbers on what a particular vehicle would cost me with the various incentives for some odd reason they wouldnt. They never got around to that even after me asking several times. I've never had a problem at other dealerships with putting amounts on paper. I want to know what I'm working with so I can make a decision. And then they had the nerve to ask when my husband was coming in. I told them that I was the one making the decision and that I was whom they were to deal with. Perhaps I wasn't good enough. Well I guess then neither is my money. more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!! Stay away. 3/1/2009

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Aside from the obvious lack of professionalism, they are dishonest, misleading and unethical in their practices. They have no respect for the customer nor the customer's time. The sales staff walk around as though they have no aim in mind. Not a very motivated bunch. It should be noted that we attempted to resolve our dispute quickly by contacting the general manager. After 10 days, we have not be granted the courtesy of his reply. Pros: Service department was very helpful and upfront. Cons: sales staff and management provide little to no service, only rhetoric. more

no customer service, over priced, doesn't even do their job 10/7/2008

I am very disappointed in the customer service and lack of workmanship at this facility. I made an appointment to get my 02 sensor replaced. The serviceman told me that it would take him from about 7:30 to 10:30 am. I dropped it off as he asked and at 10 am I had no phone call, called them and they acted annoyed that I thought it would be done around 10:30 and would give me absolutely no timetable. They then told me that the 02 sensor would cost over 400 dollars to replace. i asked for an oil change several times and they quoted me 33.95. Two and a half hours later, I go to pick up my car. My bill is 602.00 (included 'misc feees"" and labor costs). I look on my bill and there is no oil change. My serviceman states, ""oh i guess I forgot to do that"" He makes no offer to appease so I have to ask if he can still do it and he says ""well, its going to take at least an hour"" and blankly stares at me. At that point, i said forget it (since Id already was 5 hours late to work), paid, and vowed never to do anymore business with this disrespectful company and its servicemen. They need to learn a thing or two about customer service. Pros: location in downtown Cons: poor service, ridiculous prices, dishonest, slow with time management... more
