Review content:
When my car got totalled two weeks before i was supposed to go back to college I began immediately looking for a car. I was hoping to find a used car with a warranty and could not afford to do very high payments. I was so shocked when I was told I was approved for a brand new Versa. After haggling for an hour (they really wanted me to put an extra thousand down and pay almost $100 more a month because college kids have soo much money) they brought me an offer signed ""Happy early graduation"" with a smiley face and I left in a brand new car. They said they'd hold my check for two weeks till my insurance paid and that I had done very well for myself for being so young and able to do such a thing. I was thrilled with the car and so proud of myself for being able to afford it. A week later after I'd moved into school and classes were starting I got a phone call asking some questions that make me wonder about the legitimacy of my credit app that they filled out and I was told that I was not actually approved and that they had sent me away on a pre-approval basis. When I got upset I was told that they were getting a headache, ha!!! After a week of back and forth (get a cosigner, no don't get one, dispute this on your credit, etc) I had to drive 200 mi in on my first weekend back at school to deal with the situation. I had to wait 2 hours to speak to finance and then had to clean my car out in the parking lot on a busy Saturday in front of two employees (as if I were some sort of criminal) and anyone looking out the window and wait for a ride to pick me up. They didn't give me my check when I asked for it multiple times and they didn't even offer me a Kleenex while I was crying. I was absolutely humiliated for no reason at all except they wanted to sell a car, not to mention I still get a headache when I think about the stress they caused.
