Service was just average, to make long story short, quite a bit of attitude on the guy who came back to clean up mess. Also, was asking for a senior citizen discount, but instead...

I am a twelve-year First Colony resident who called Doug Turner for the first time because he had a series of plumbing problems that my previous plumber could not fix. Mitchell came out, analyzed our problems and did the repairs in the same morning. He did a great job at explaining the issues and the steps he would need to take. He was pleasant and professional and the price was fair. I will call Doug Turner and Mitchell the next time we need plumbing services. more

We will never use Doug Turner Plumbing again!! 9/9/2013

Wow! Their exorbitant prices are outrageous! They came to our house and did about 2 hours worth of work and charged us $685!!! In that price there was probably only about $185 in materials (guts for two toilets and a valve for a tub faucet). When the plumber gave me a price for the work (after he was here and I would have paid a trip charge anyway) I had no idea how long it would take or what would be involved to do the plumbing repairs (I thought for the price he quoted it would be 4-6 hours worth of work). I had purchased a trim kit and he installed it (for $150) and then he didn't even caulk around the faucet, I had to ask him to do that and when he did he didn't caulk underneath the faucet. Alan's Plumbing has since done other work (and did a great job) for us at a much more reasonable price. My husband wrote a letter to Doug Turner Plumbing about the charges and we never even received the courtesy of a reply. There are other really good plumbers out there who don't charge an arm and a leg. We will never use Doug Turner Plumbing again! more

This company did their job very professionally. Another big company diagnosed the problem completely wrong. When Denney arrived and found out real problem,he saved us from wasting $10,000 and much trouble. They are trustworthy and provide quality service. more

Superb job! 3/24/2013

Thank you for this opportunity to praise the superb work of Mitch and Chris who skillfully solved a very nasty water heater problem here at 10407 Ten Point Lane in Missouri City. The heater that had failed had not been installed properly. It was such a mess that, even though we had replaced several such units at other residences before, we were afraid to tackle it. These craftsmen put everything quickly into order, and taught us a thing or two in the process, too! Everything is great - we're happy, and will recommend Doug whenever the opportunity arrives. more

I have utilized Doug Turner Plumbing for the past several years for my plumbing needs. I have met at least 4 different plumbers (including Doug, himself) on their staff and each one has been profession, honest, courteous and highly-skilled. Each problem I had is still in good repair and I have learned a great deal about my home plumbing during each service call. Excellent company! more

Pipe replacement for pinhole leaks in ceiling 11/21/2012

Shane and his colleague were very thorough and did not just clamp the leak but replaced the entire length of pipe, like I had hoped. Shane kept checking for t he source of another spray of water, found it, and replaced that pipe, too. I will call upon Doug Turner Plumbing again, but I hope, I don't need you any time soon! more
