I don't normally seek out a place to write revies but when searching the address for Donato & Grewal to handle a HUD closing transaction, I read the one review here. I will say I was very afraid of what I would be dealing with. But since the govt was paying I thought oh well not costing me anything. I totally disagree with GSOCoastie. I have nothing but good things to be said about Mr. Donato and the ladies that work for him. They from day one of what was a somewhat drawn out process treated me with nothing but respect, promptness on returning my calls and emails and when it came time to attend the closing it was the smoothest of any I have ever been to. Mr. Donato was on time for the appointment and well prepared. When dealing with the govt. you never know how long you might be waiting. No waiting. I was in and out in no time and the property was recorded promptly. Mr. Donato, Tina and Amy - THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DID AND A JOB WELL DONE. I now recommend Donato & Grewal to everyone I know. more

Based on a single real estate transaction, I cannot recommend Attorney Donato as I believe he did not adequately represent my interests and judging by the opinions from other attorneys, consulted after the fact, I believe he also gave extremely poor legal advice. Due to circumstances at the time, I failed to abide by 2 basic but very good rules ? NEVER trust a realtor, and ALWAYS get a second opinion. My Allen Tate Buyer?s Agent recommended Attorney Donato as ?young, but good.? I now realize that I should have asked for a direct response to my ?good and honest? requirement as it seems that vendors, whether attorneys or home inspectors, are selected by realtors primarily based on their ability to close transactions, not necessarily for their professional acumen or integrity. This real estate transaction was laden with mistakes before and after the closing. All in all, there are many other attorneys that are much more experienced and sadly, seem to possess a good deal more integrity. more
