We came into the new home construction project with zero knowledge on home systems. Trey was very helpful initally explaining the basics and with Justin's help we were able to settle on the right mix for us. I am very happy with what we decided to do in the house, we actually added a media room after the initial design. Justin was key in getting this done right. Ralph took over for Justin at the time of installation and although we had a few problems with the handoff, Ralph is very focused on customer service and has done a good job working out the kinks. We still have a few items that aren't working correctly but I expect that we will eventually get them fixed. Overall, it has been great working with Dominion and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to intall home control and AV systems. more

When my wife and I were building our home, we were faced with making many decisions. One of the decisions we had to make was which Company we would select to advise us and install our home audio and video. After interviewing and meeting with 3 different well known companies in the San Antonio area, we decided to select Dominion. Dominion was not the cheapest but we selected them for several reasons (1) they were a "one stop shop" who could take care of all of our home audio and video needs, (2) their knowledge and expertise regarding audio and video was well beyond the other two companies we talked to, (3) the equipment they use is high quality, and (4) their customer service attitude and motivation to do things right was very apparent. During the build, Dominion did not dissappoint. They continued to advise us and make recommendations based on our wants and needs. The pre-wire went smoothly and when the house was finished, the final install of all of the audio and video equipment was seemless. After the final install Dominion showed my wife and I exactly how everything worked and gave us a complete overview of all of our audio and video equipment. After everthing was installed and my wife and I moved into the house, I have never hesitated to call Dominion to ask questions and get advise. They are always more than happy to help. In addition, I have called them regarding a couple of very minor warranty issues in the last year and each time they have scheduled an appointment to come out to our home within a couple of days to fix the issue with no questions asked. I think Dominion's customer service is summed up by the following short story. When we were building our home we were watching every dollar we spent. As such, I selected less expensive subwoofers for our home theater then I probably should have. After living in our home for about 6 months I became unhappy with my selection of subwoofers. Dominion offered us full credit on the subwoofers I originally chose and allowed me to apply that against an upgraded set of subwoofers! They did not have to do that as the subwoofers had been used for 6 months and I was the one who chose them. This illustrates the focus Dominion places on customer services and wanting to ensure their customers are happy. Justin Brinkerhoff was my customer service agent and my main contact at Dominion. Justin has and continues to provide exellent advise and prompt customer service. Clay Brown performed the final installation of all of my home audio and video equipment and performs any warranty work we may have. Clay has been wonderful and courteous. I trust Clay and Justin to come into my home when my wife and I are at work. In summary, I have been completely satisfied with my experience with Dominion and would recommend them to anybody. more

We built a new home, and our builder uses Dominion Design and Integration. They did basically all the wiring in our home, with our intercom system, wall-mounted TVs, and surround sound system. Everything turned out fabulous. They're just incredible. They're very thorough, they're clean, and the workers themselves were so courteous. To give an example, my children and I walked up while they were getting everything installed into the walls. The workers were playing their music loud, and when they saw me and my children walking up, the workers immediately apologized and turned their music off. I had to tell them, "No, play your music, go right ahead." We weren't even living in the house. I would tell a potential customer, if they want good quality and good service, Dominion would be the company to use. I've already used them again. My son got an X-Box, and we had Dominion connect it to the remote controls in the house. Any time my children get a new gadget, we call them. more

We run development a property with a private club, and we have used Dominion Design for a number of projects over the past two to or three years. They started by doing work on some of the residential units and couple of things at the sales office, and they have done all of the technical aspects at the club. In my experience, they have always been very helpful and fair. When I call and ask for something, there timely in giving the information or following up. more

Our house is two thirds finished. Dominion Design and Integration has done all of the first part for getting our house low voltage. We were pretty much illiterate when it came to low voltage options, and Marty did a great job of presenting what could be done. Knowing that we are trying to stay within a budget, Marty gave us good options for our price range. When my husband had questions about different up-to-date televisions, Marty sent us information that blew our minds. He provided so much more than what we had asked. It was a great experience. So far Dominion Design and Integration has put in all the wiring; all they need to do now is actually put the equipment in. All the low voltage wiring is finished. They did it in a very timely manner. They have done a super job. more
