McDonald"s for Hair 3/20/2011

This place has gone down hill and is all hype. Ge this-all those excotic names like "Elle" are fake! They cannot do blond hi lights to save their life. My good friend's hair turned gray. Mine has been messed up twice! First gray-purple and second the dreaded stripes that are so dark and so light it appears gray from a distance and a hot mess up close. I think a lot of people are unhappy with the result but they think,"It's Dolce, this is as good as it gets" People, stand up for yourselves! Call and call until they do it right! They will not be able to stay in business! Don't sulk away like my girlfriend. Ignore the dirty looks. I did some research, they assistants work for free as education! It's actually a loan they take out for learning! Then they owe the salon back for their time by working it back. Weeks of free help! That is how they do all the volume and no quality! I did my research, do yours! Ignore the Love Dolce followers. They will be victims next, or sulk away afraid of the snooty staff. more

Bad Salon service 9/7/2009

Good: Stylist usually do a good job styling with a blow dryer. Salon carries good products.. Bad: Numberous level 5 stylist gave me wrong hi-lites and toners in three services in a row in one day. I was told to pay full price and charged extra for toners. Spent $600. That day. Upon complaing I was given $25.00 store credit for my troubles.. Improvements: To be given what I asked for by better customer service, better product knowledge.. Other: And the seats are really cool looking, but soo uncomfortable. I was asked to slouch in my chair, I'm short.. more

A gorgeous, efficient, professional place 12/16/2006

The manicure was awesome, and I'd love to go back to such a cool and relaxing atmosphere. They seem to have made the place at once modern and chic while still relaxing, with two walls of water, and even a "relaxation room" where you can let your nails dry or chill after a massage with a glass of water or coffee (complimentary). I consider it fairly pricey ($35 for a manicure) but worth it for a treat for yourself or the lady in your life. They also offer great packages for guys--"ale" facials, shaves, massages, etc. Also not cheap, but very cool. more

My girlfriend loved it!! 2/22/2006

This last Christmas I was trying to break away from the usual flowers/jewelry/perfume routine with my girlfriend. Her friend recommended I check out a giftcard from Dolce Salon & Spa. I called & spoke to a receptionist (Lawanda?) who was very knowledgeable about all of the services. I don't know much beyond haircuts and massages, so she helped me to pick a Mio Amore chocolate bodywrap thing & a one-hour facial. I was able to buy the giftcard over the phone and they sent it to my office so my girlfriend wouldn't see it in the mail. Sarah loved the giftcard and went in this last Sunday to receive the services. She said the location is beautiful and the entire staff was friendly. The front desk was busy, but everyone was very nice and checked her in and out really quickly. She really liked the two employees who did her services (David & Meghan) and bought some new products while she was there. I'll definitely be getting her more giftcards in the future. more

Dolce Spa 9/30/2005

I have been to this salon/spa once. The staff seemed friendly enough. I got a body wrap which I thought was the type that you get wrapped to lose inches, but it turned out not to be that kind. they basically just put hot towels on you and you lay there. It did not seem very beneficial but the lady said I was releasing toxins and to drink a lot of water. It was rather expensive for just a hot towel wrap, who knows what they put on me as far as the liquid but did not seem worth the money to do nothing but lay there. maybe I should have gotten a massage instead. more

Dolce is the best 8/19/2005

A friend reccomended dolce to me, and boy am I glad she did. The place is huge.. first time going in you might get a little overwhelmed.. There is a full menu of stuff they do there. Everyone is soooo very nice and helpful. If you are going in for a pedicure, a haircut, or waxing you are treated like a princess. They bring you drinks, and its just a very relaxing experience. I have yet to try the massages, but i hear they are just wonderful. Price is average to high for a high end place like this. But it is very worth it. more

It's gigantic, but friendly 8/2/2005

Dolce is a huge warehouse of a salon. There are rows upon rows of stylists. However, the entire staff is friendly and welcoming and make everyone feel comfortable. They offer a wide range of spa treatments for men and women, including some rarely offered services like ear candling. Their prices are average, but their customer service is outstanding. more

great place to go and relax 6/22/2005

Dolce Salon and Spa is located right in the same area as the Chandler Fashion mall. It is in a very nice area. The spa itself is very cool and very modern looking. This is an excellent place to get the girl in your life a gift such as a massage, haircut, facial or other services. I got my girlfriend a giftcard here and she loved it. She said the massage was the best she ever had, and now she wants to go back. It is an expensive place to go, but worth it to pamper yourself every once in awhile. more

day spa 6/16/2005

This is a very nice day spa. It is a good place to go for the day to just relax a bit. It is nice looking both inside and out. They are located by the Chandler fashion square. I have gotten massages in here and I would highly recommend them. They are very professional and good. They are kind of expensive but in my opinion worth every cent that I pay for such a relaxing calming day. more
