Doctors Urgent Care Office

VERY VERY BAD CHOICE, DON'T GO TO THE ERLANGER LOCATION!! Doctors there just send you to the ER! They see you and take your MONEY, then say they will send over the order for further x-rays, ultrasounds or testings to by pass seeing an ER Doctor, so then you don't have to pay another co-pay at the ER. BUT NO!! Do you think that happened NO!! The ER NEVER gets the order, so then they call Urgent Care and they say OH! we made a MISTAKE and NEVER say why. Then you have no choice, but to see an ER Doctor, cause you are in that much pain. Even the tech there at ER stated that has happened 3-4 times in a week. I have also heard that from other patients. DON'T GO TO ANY OF THEM!!!!! \r more

I went to Urgent Care in Erlanger with a broken calcaneus (heel). You could clearly see that it might be broken because it was green and very swollen, not to mention I couldn't put any pressure on it. I waited for over an hour in the waiting room. Then I was escorted to another room to where i had to wait some more.This place took 3 X-rays of my foot and then came back and told me everything was fine and sent me on my merry way. One or two days later they called me back and told me it might be broken and I should go to The Commonwealth Orthopedic Center and get a CAT scan on my foot. Well, I forgot to bring my X-rays with me so the C.O.C took four X-rays of my foot and you could tell that it was clearly broken in two places.. Either Urgent Care is ignorant and doesn't know how to do their job, or they are using pre-historic equipment. I never got the CAT scan that Urgent Care suggested I get, just an X-ray. In my opinion this place is just a meat market and a waste of money because I still got charged for the X-rays that didn't prove squat. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I would suggest the Urgent Care care in Florence,KY or just waiting it out and seeing a doctor whenever you can get an appointment. This is a wonderful place. I would recommend it to anyone. The staff is always quick and friendly. My son has been many times, and we always get friendly, efficient care. Thank You. Pros: Quicker than the ER more

i went to urgent care with a infected cyts on the back of my ear. we waited over an hour before i was even called back to the examination room. once the doctor came in she only said she could not help me gave me a shot and a script and told me that i would have to go to er if got worst. we waited another 30 min before shot came then to be told i would have another twenty minutes before i could leave. i paid one hundred and sixty dollars for no help at all. the doctor spent about two minutes if that with me... i ask the question could this be what is wrong with health care? one hundred sixty for a two minute consultation more
