DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE WHATSOEVER. THE STAFF IS NICE, BUT I HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH A DOCTOR THERE FOR THE SECOND TIME TONIGHT more

I believe the urgent care on wilmington pk is the best. I would recommend anyone who is sick to go there, they are very nice, knowledgeable, friendly and always have a smile for the patients. and refreshments if needed. more

Myself and my 18 year old son went to see the doctor. After reading all the comments, we were pretty sceptical, but after seeing the assistant nurse, we knew we are in good hands. They were very friendly and very proffessional. We will be back. :) more

I went to this shoddy establishment today with a swollen, sprained ankle. I should have known better after they misdiagnosed my father's fractured forearm as a bruise and then called him the next day to say they misread the x-ray, but it was the closest medical office to my house. DR. SHAW came into the exam room, confirmed my name and oddly, place of work, and continually interrupted me as I explained what had happened and where I was experiencing pain. Without even looking at or examining my ankle he sent me to xray, where the very nice and lovely staff treated me. I assumed that he would take more of an interest after he had seen the xrays, but again did not even look at my ankle. In fact, he saw that I was in a great deal of pain, sweating and breathing heavy and simply asked, ""are you okay?"" Of course I said no, I am in a lot of pain, and he said "" well it wasn't broken"" and told me that because I had been on a sleeping medication I must have slept on it wrong. He wrote me a script for an anti-inflammatory and said, ""alright, you can leave whenever"" without offering the assistance of a wheelchair which he saw me pushed back to xray in. I ended up going to the ER and getting a water splint and a doctor that actually looked at and touched my ankle. The staff was very nice, but DR. SHAW was by far the worst MD I have ever and will ever hope to encounter. Avoid at all costs. more

There when you need them 10/31/2011

Illness and injury always seem to happen after hours and on weekends. more

Wouldn't take my dog there - medical assistants are great! 5/27/2011

I had to take my daughter there for stitches on a laceration. The doctor was incredibly strange, difficult to understand, and a jerk overall. We ran out of there and went to Miami Valley South instead after he suggested that a plastic surgeon do my daughter's stitches. The Medical Assistants were VERY sweet though - one named Daniel, the other a female but I can't remember her name. They had great bedside manner, it's unfortunate the doc did not. I often wonder if they stick docs that can't cut it in the real world in urgent cares. more

Good care 10/29/2008

I was there with a migraine and the doctor and staff where very considerate of the sensitives I had with the migraine. When the nurse gave me my shots it didn't even hurt., it was the best shot ever. And the doctor even gave me some pain medicines to take home just in case the migraine came back. That was good. As far as Urgent Cares go I got very good care. Pros: Qick care Cons: not an ER so cannot run lots of test and do follow up care more

Substandard Care and Customer service 2/22/2008

We went to Doctors Urgent Care for my son. His neck was swelled up about the size of 1/2 of a grapefruit on one side. He had recently returned from a trip to Mexico. The doctor failed to run any bloodwork, assumed strep and gave antibiotics. He refused to discuss the possibility that there was anything contracted in Mexico. After another week and not getting better, we went to our family doctor. She was quite surprised at the swelling and ran many tests. After being diagnosed with something else entirely, we called Doctors Urgent Care on 4 occasions and wrote 2 letters asking for 1/2 of the balance due to be waived. After months of not having our phone calls returned they sent the balance due to collections. They refused to discuss the case or even consider our concerns. Pros: Quick service Cons: inaccurate diagnosis more
