Diva Studio

I have been going to Diva for years and totally understand why they are a top 20 salon. I've had events pop up where I?ve needed a haircut that second and couldn?t get in, Dessie teaches for Tigi and is in high demand plus all the other Master stylists were busy too. When I went to another high class salon I was not happy to say the least. Dessie is so great and such a sweetie, well she?s hot too. If super clean is a big deal to you and you like to pick places apart you?ll like it there. Plus the little one at the counter is a cutie pantz and so awesome it hurts. I love Diva and will be a long term client. Pros: Clean, awesome people, relaxing enviroment, pro services and products. Cons: crazy busy but they know what they are doing so that's what happens. Plan so you get the best. more

I'm not sure what the average customer comes in to the salon for but my experience with Diva was for a cut AND color ok. Maybe I shouldn't have gone in on a Saturday because it was busy but I desperately needed to get my hair done and there was no other salon that could get me in. If you enjoy a bigger salon, this is is a great place. I didn't find the place very personable and this salon isn't the best customer service I've experienced. The weekend was busy and maybe that's why I felt the service could have been better. \r \r As of the turn out of my hair, I was very disappointed. I expect that if I'm going to spend A LOT of money on my hair, it better turn out the way I envision it. Although my stylist did discuss the look and color I was looking for, she did not bother confirming the color with me. So instead of getting a nice brown color, I turned out a caramel colored blond...I didn't realize when I said light, warm brown, she'd interpret it caramel blond. Maybe I should have asked, but I felt she'd get to know my personality and my lifestyle to know that wasn't the direction I was looking for. \r \r Though my hair DID NOT turn out the way I expected it to be, the color turned out nice and I knew she knew what she was doing. It would have been nicer if it was the color I wanted though. The hair cut was fabulous...that's all I could say with that. Pros: Very professional stylists! I found out about Diva Studio threw a girl I work with. She goes to Christopher and has her hair done. So I booked an appointment a few weeks later, beacause i was so scared to get a new hair dresser. Finally I went into Diva and I was suprised. Cristopher made me feel like I was at home. I've had the same hair style for the past 4 and a half years and I didn't know what to change. He helped me with what I could change and be comfortable with. Now I feel like a ""Diva""!!!! And that all has to do with Christopher. I will be back. Thank you Diva!!! Pros: no waiting, great beverage selection, nice area Cons: front desk is very slow, no cash back on credit cards! more

To anyone who wants to feel like a star, I just had my hair done by Amanda. The girls at the V bar all see her and she just did all the hair for the V bars latest photoshoot for their adds. I was completely impressed by her kindness, and how beautiful I felt when I left. Alittle pricey, but you get what you pay for. She told me some words to live by when it comes to your hair and that is "" your hair is the biggest and most impressionable part of your wardrobe, and people always judge you by that first, so spend the most where it means the most"". I had my haircut at Diva based upon the oodles of glowing recommendations posted here on citysearch. I was a little bit skeptical when I saw that every person (except one) had posted ONLY ONE review for the entire city of vegas, and it just happened to be for this salon. It kind of smelled suspicious, but I figured, if the staff here is so gung-ho to manufacture their own glowing reviews, maybe they put as much effort into cutting hair. \r \r My experience was good but not great. The salon is clean and hip, and it was quite busy but I did manage to get an appointment the same day I called with a young girl who was fresh out of salon school. To her credit, she did a good job of cutting my hair, but it was definitely not the best cut I've ever had. It was average. I would come back here to get my hair cut again, but I am a little put off by the appearance of ballot stuffing. Pros: Hip decor. Lots of easy parking. Complimentary coffee. Cons: Average stylist skill. $45 for men's cut seems expensive. Too many 5-star reviews from one-time reviewers seems suspicious. more

A+++++++ for HOLLY G! she is awesome! anyone plannin on going to DIVA STUDIO i really suggest you go and see HOLLY G! prices are right. i got a BOMB A-- haircut/highlight from her, she is WONDERFUL knew what I wanted and she knew what she was doing! i finally found the right hairdresser and she found a returning client for all i know! A friend recommended I go see Holly at Diva when i mentioned my hairdresser was in a rut and does the same old style on me even though i ask for change...Holly gave me a rich new color with a few highlights, and a cut to die for...she is fresh and hip and just what i needed. My husband says I have never looked more beautiful and loves my new found confidence, I am no longer hiding behind hair i dont like. I owe my new glow to Holly and have since called to thank her personally...she is brilliant at her job. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new perspective on their old tired style. more

I just adored Holly...she took my icky roots and faded color and made me beautiful again...i also requested that she only take an inch off and she did just that. Hair color and cut by Jenna....this was a great experience for me....Jenna had a bad hair color/cut to fix and did a great job....my hair has looked professionally done ever since - even when I do it myself.\r \r Manicure/Pedicure by Christine....she also had a challenge as I had an issue with my fingernails over the past year and they are not easy to manicure. Not only did she do a beautiful job, she made me laugh. \r \r I would recommend Diva Studio to anyone, a great atmosphere and I felt truly pampered.\r \r Thank you!! Sandy was recommended to me from a good friend of mine. I usually stop anywhere for my cuts. I got to say that not only did she talk in depth about my lifestyle but, she even got me to step out of my comfort zone with color. She's extremely knowledgable and I've never seen anyone have so much fun! I will keep returning because I feel great with myself! Please go see Sandy if you want someone passionate about her job!! I went to see Holly G at Diva last week and i've never been so satisfied with my hair before. I'm a stylist also so it's hard to impress me. Not only did she make my hair the perfect blonde i felt like she truly cared about making it the best condition it could be in. She is an artist, very fun and inspiring. My hair was trashed by another stylist, and I couldnt bare the thought of going back to have it fixed. I took the advice of my boss and went to her stylist, HollyG. I'm so glad I did. My hair is now very natural looking, and on its way to a healthy shine again. Holly has done 2 treatments on me and let me know about products that will halp repair my hair, and they really work! She told me she uses the products to, and she believes in them. I have put my hair in her hands and it has been a relieving experience. She actually cares about my hair and how it looks after i leave the salon. Shes the best. If you need some hair help take my advice, and go see Holly. I am so pleased. All I can say is this girl is an awesome hairdresser. She is wonderful at her craft. She has a great eye and her technical skills worked wonders on my tragic hair. I look beautiful. terrible customer service. rude. do not want you as customer if you are not white.receptionist is most helpful. they try and make you miss appointment even if you are there on time so they can debity your credit card without service. I heard about Diva Studio from a girlfriend of mine!!! I'm so excited that she told me because my expierence was so good!!!!! I got to Diva Studio a little early and i wasn't kept waiting. My stylist name was Christopher. He was soooooo good!!!! He listened to everything i said, and gave his own thoughts on things. He gave great insight on Hair. At the end of the app. I felt like a new girl. It was Great!!!!! more

I have lived in Vegas for eleven years, and in that time become totally addicted being blonde! I change shades and styles often, and am always looking for a hair stylist that can keep up. Well, after spending eight months in New England, and having three HORRIFIC experiences with hair dressers 'attempting' to lighten my naturally VERY dark hair, and turning it a few *lovely* shades of orange, I returned back home to Vegas for good and on a friend's advice, went to see Holly G at Diva's. She is INCREDIBLE! Not only did she manage to totally correct all of the previous messes that had been left in my hair, but she did exactly what I explained to her that I wanted... though I didn't think that what I wanted was even going to be *possible* with all of the correction that was needed! I have gone to see her twice now, and trusted her enough this last time to totally reshape and cut it... which, again... she is AMAZING at! She is now doing hair for not only my friend that recommended her (who's color is always changing and looks great) but also a bunch of our other friends as well... and all that I can say is that ALL of her work is wonderful.... I was a guest of Diva studio last week. I had heard many great things about the salon from friends and on citysearch and decided to have my highlights done there. I was in great hands! My stylist [now my regular stylist], Holly, did a great job. she was professional and fast and my hair is gorgeous. I am very pleased with Diva. With so many salons to choose from in Las Vegas, being referred to DIVA was great for me. My stylist, Holly, made my color rich and beautiful and recreated a cut that another stylist destroyed...I am so happy. I found Diva Studio here on Citysearch with just looking up ""great hairstyles in Vegas"". Citysearch came up and so did the name ""Christopher"". Well i quickly made an appointment and went the next day. The salon was easy to find and it was gorgeous inside!! Christopher was on time and very professional. He communicated perfectly and made my hair perfect!! Yeah, i said Perfect! I found a hair stylist for life!! Pros: Affordable!! more
