Last week I took my son to a child behavioral psychologist, due to recent bad reports form Dscovery Point in Roswell. He went from having temper tantrums that involved hitting.and then I was told by Discovery Point teachers that he was doing much better and ""there were worse kids in the room"" I was told by Ms. Jessica all about other students such as a girl who cries all day, another boy that hits and a child that she thinks should be in a helmet! Ms. Jessica at this location, who is also the main teacher of the young 2's told me last week that ""I had to hold my reflexes back because your son hit me in the face"". Translation ""I wanted to hit a 2 year old"" Shame on this facility for hiring someone that would even say such a things. My child was observed last Friday in a smaller environment by the psychologist and I would love to publish the results. Translation_ Too many kids in one room, negative attention or no attention ( they ignored him after he POd the main teacher)equals the behaviors and my son is a normal 2 year old that needs a smaller class.Discovery Point lied to me and said the owner Yvette Rijos witnessed my son bite 2 teachers twice. When I apologized to Ms. Tiffany she said he did not bite her. This was left in a nice message by Iyana James, one of the directors . She nicely said they were suspending my 2 yr old for this. First they need to get their facts straight, fill out the sheets correctly, not be unprofessional and talk about other kids in the room to me and most importantly DON'T TELL A PARENT THAT YOU HAD TO HOLD YOU REFLEXES BACK!! Also these are at least the 3rd set of teachers in this room since September. 21 kids and 2 teachers! I am a teacher and I can't imagine telling a parent that I had to hold myself back.
Cons: abusive language. lies , over ratio!
