The Bakery is closed and are not Filling due orders?? What happened ?? more

I have NO problem paying for a cake when I know the price of it. My husband and I went into the bakery to place an order and was told our cake would cost about $65 BUT they would call me "tomorrow" if the price was way different because I depending on what the difference was I may not get the cake. Suzzie told me I would be able to cancel the order and get a COMPLETE refund of my deposit. Everything sounded GREAT. I NEVER recieved a phone call so I called them. I was told that the cake we wanted would cost us a total of $50. I replyed Great see you Saturday! Well when I went to pick up our cake I was under the impression since I put a $40 deposit down and the total was $50 I'd owe $10...It's not that hard of math! They told me I misunderstood and the BALANCE was $50. I explained everything to the employees there including the owner. I also requested my $40 deposit to be refunded because I was not interested in a cake that feeds 8-10 people for $90. I was denied a refund by the owner because he said "It is not HIS fault I misunderstood" Even though I explained what I was told by HIS employees it was MY fault...PA Bakery will get MY business...As a matter a fact we went there and spent $60 on 2 cakes...It would have been the same amount of money spent if we would have just taken the cake at Dingeldein's but I can't see giving that owner ANY business. VERY VERY SAD way of doing business! Would NOT recommend this Bakery to anyone. I wish I could have given ZERO stars but that was not an option. more

RUSS AND HIS CREW ARE, WITHOUT A DOUBT, THE BEST AT THEIR CRAFT! I'VE BEEN BUYING SPECIAL OCCASION CAKES AND OTHER SWEETS FROM DINGELDEIN'S SINCE THE DOORS OPENED. EVERYTHING IS DONE EXACTLY HOW YOU WANT IT. NO REQUEST IS TOO MUCH FOR THEM TO HANDLE. THEY DID MY WEDDING CAKES (YES...5 OF THEM, BUT ONLY ONE WEDDING) AND NEXT YEAR THEY'LL BE DOING THE CAKES FOR MY SON'S WEDDING! THE BEST OF THE BEST! PUT'S OTHER, OVERPRICED (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) BAKERIES IN THE AREA TO SHAME! MY WHOLE FAMILY LOVES THE CAKES, PIES, COOKIES, BISCOTTI, STICKY BUNS AND GRANOLA. AND YOU'VE NEVER HAD A PEANUT BUTTER CREAM FILLED DONUT 'TIL YOU'VE HAD ONE AT DINGELDEIN'S. I THINK THEY WEIGHT ABOUT A POUND A PIECE. BUDDY AND DUFF MIGHT HAVE TELEVISION SHOWS, BUT RUSS HAS THE TRUE TALENT! more

I have been ordering my son the white chocolate mousse cake from Dingeldein Bakery for the past 5 years. The cake is awesome. The taste is unbelievable. I don't mind paying $36.00 for this 10" cake. more

Dingeldein’s is a very upper-class bakery with excellent cakes. My favorite is the white chocolate mousse. It is a very expensive bakery – a regular sized cake is over $25 now. Getting a wedding cake there would be very expensive, but some would say worth it. I do love their cake, but I am not a fan of their doughnuts. I like Dingeldein’s, but it is strictly for special occasions. more
