Gary and Ed have been helping me to keep my home at it's best. In the course of the past 18 or more years they have put in hardwood floors, replaced all woodwork and doors, refinished cabinets. upgreade two bathroom. They have refinised the basement twice including patching the foundation cracks.(sons change their minds as to what thay wanted down there also). They have done electrical, plumbing, roofing, siding and windows replacement. They have replaced the garage door and repaired the springs to the door on the occasons they have broken. They remolded my garage, bringing heat and laudry to the garage. However, the big job was to build a 15 x 25 ft three season room on the back of my home, which I love.\r Now lets move to my Morther home. She was taking in water in the basement to the point she had mold building up. They fixed the chracks, sealed the window again, tore the pannelling down and reblaced it, had to gut the bathroon down there and replace everying.. This job also required installing a second sump-pump in the basement. Then the outside drains around the house where cracked and needed to be replaced. All done under their watchful eye.\r So, now you know of most of the big things they have help me with but to list all the little minor things they have either fixed or replace for me, we would need to be here all day!\r You can trust them to do a great job for you! --- I do! more

I really was lucky finding Diamond Home Improvement and Handyman Service. I had 3 other companies come out to give me quotes on my bathroom and kitchen remodeling and DHI/H came out far above the others. Loved these Guys! Trustworthy, priced right, professional, and did exceptional work. My husband and I chose Diamond Home Improvement to do our hardwood floors because we read all of the wonderful reviews. Gary noticed cracks in our foundations and said they were expensive to repair. He stated the epoxy to fix them was going to be at least $90 per tube and he would need to purchase at least 10 to 12 tubes to fill the cracks. After about an hour and a half he called me over from my neighbors house and he told me had to write him a THOUSAND dollar check that day because he was out $850 of his own personal money in supplies and I was to write it out to him (NOT DIAMOND HOME IMPROVEMENT) (Hmmm Wonder why? Taxes perhaps??(this is pure speculation on my part but I am sure a good one!) In any case, I was actually thankful to him and thought he was a savior and would have basically paid any amount if it meant my future hardwood floors would be safe from damage. Gary had to go out for a bit and left his worker there with me as I was writing the check, we were talking and he said something about Sherwin Williams, I didn't think anything of it at the time and when Gary got back, I graciously thanked him, he made a big deal about how expensive everything was and how labor intensive it was even telling me he used 8 bottles on one crack alone, etc. and after I paid him he left and I went about my day. He usually takes his trash with him, but this time, he forgot it and in it, was the epoxy he had used to fill the cracks. Exactly 6 SHER-CRETE epoxy bottles. My father is a lawyer and I was his paralegal and did all of his investigative work, so I called sherman williams and asked them how much a tube of the epoxy was - imagine my suprise when they gave me the price of less then $32 per tube!!!!!! So, I gave them the job name (my name) and Gary's name and asked them exactly what he purchased that day and they told me every thing that was purchased and guess what??? It was sitting in my trash bag! $180 of Sher-Crete that I just paid $1,000 for!!!! I then called him and gave him a bull crap story about my neighbor having cracks too and they wanted to know where he got the epoxy from (I gave him the chance to come clean) he didn't. he made up some name and stammered and bs. We were a grand into him so we had him do the work and because he had done previous work and still owed us for things he and his son messed up on from a previous job, we had to keep our mouth shut about this until now. Now everyone will know what a fraud you are Gary! The IRS, your customers you screwed in the past, your potential future customers you can't screw now because they will read this. You are dishonest, you overcharged when you didn't need to and you did it to someone who is sick and dying and that is so sad. Shame on you Gary! more

Gary and Ed have done both large and small jobs in my home. They are great to work with, friendly, communicative and efficient. They are honest and look out for their customers working with you to stay within budget and not over spending on materials. They never leave anything undone and always follow-up to be sure everything is completed to my specification and I am very particular. I trust them to be in my house, I enjoy working with them and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for any home improvement assistance. more

Father and Son make a great team. They know all facets of Home Improvement. They're quite honest in the fact that they would recommend something you need or if you need something will advise that is isn't needed. They do wonderful work and are actually fun to be around. Reflecting on 'Diamond Home Improvement and Handyman Service'... ?how real professionals handle the job from beginning to completion, by doing exactly what they wrote in their contract without any excuses. Arriving on time, working diligently, cleaned during the job and after. Courtesy was shown to me and my property, as if they were working in there own home. The first job they tackled they had to find the crack/cracks in the foundation which meant they had to remove the paneling and window framing. When they found the cracks in the foundation they also found that a lot of the framing was now rotted and also needed to be replaced along with the adjacent wall that needed new dry wall due to water damage. After the cracks in the foundation were fixed and dried they replaced the paneling and window framing, repainted and it now looks like I never had any work done in that area. They were also contracted to top off a separating wall ledge with Oak--it turned out beautiful. Along with cleaning the gutters, power washing the entire house and the deck--which also turned out fantastic. I can?t begin to praise this company enough for being the kind of company that is competent, trustworthy/ honest and sincere with the customer who has not only put their faith in their company, but also there hard earned $$$$$$$$$$$. I've used Diamond for a major kitchen, two bath remodels and flooring, along with finishing our basement. Painting, carpentry, new doors, installing absolutely anything - these guys can do it all. I mean, they even provided a quick fix to an awful squirrel problem in our attic. AND, I like their prices, too! I wouldn't go anywhere else for home improvement and handywork - they seriously are the best!!! :D more
