I spoke with Melanie at Destiny Mortgage several times. She was extremely knowledgable (and patient), and answered every question I had. She offered suggestions for me to save money in other ways, other than just with my house payment. In the end I was able to save $320 per month by refinancing to alower rate and I saved another $32 per month by lowering my home insurance, at her suggestion. My sister is now working with her to buy her first house. I wont hesitate to refer friends & family to Melanie. It is nice to know their are still honest decent people in the world. more

I didn't think I could refinance since I don't have much home equity but Melanie took the time to seek out options for me. In the end, she had to reduce the closing costs and also get the attorney to lower their fees just so I could close. I really feel that Melanie did everything she could just to help me to reduce my monthly payment. I will not hesitate to refer her to my family and friends. We got a new loan for 4.375% fixed for 30 years which trimmed our payment almost $300 per month. Melanie was always quick to reply to our emails. And we really appreciate her honesty. We could tell that she really cares about people and wanted to help US. Even though we didn't ask, She also helped to reduce our home insurance charges. I've obtained several mortgages in GA, not only for my primary home but also for several investment properties. This is the first time that the terms were as stated, and I was able to get a 4.25% permanent fixed rate loan. My loan officer (Melanie) kept in constant contact with me and we closed 5 days before expected! I plan to use them again whenever I need mortgages. Pros: Low rate, fast closing more

DO NOT even consider refinancing your home with this crooked outfit. The employees are NOT knowledgeable of how the process works. My husband and I were looking to refinance our home. We filled out all of the paperwork that was required. The dimwit women who assisted my husband informed us that all we had to bring to the closing table was $3.50. AFTER we paid what I consider a hefty fee for an appraisal (upfront, of course) the dimwit employee informed us that if we wanted to continue with the refinancing we would have to bring $10,500.00 to closing! The only GFE this nitwit gave us was the only one that stated the $3.50. AFTER the appraisal came back we were required to bring thousands more to closing, which we obviously cannot or will not do. We were not informed IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM of the different options depending on what our home appraised for. They pulled the ole ""bait and switch"". There's a reason this company is located at Crooked Tree Dr. A bunch of Crooks, hands down. DON'T GO!! Pros: If you want to be robbed go here. Cons: the absolute worst service I've encountered more
