Design Doctors

Currently taking Rhonda Edwards to court - purchased a bernhardt Martha Stewart bedroom set (3200 including delivery)- item came as described however it was missing hardware. I have attempted for over 6 months to get all the hardware delivered, she kept blowing me off, not returning my calls and finally when I asked for her to purchase the furniture back she agreed then stood me up. Do not for any reason pay for anything until everything has been delivered, right down to the last handle. I currently sit with an incomplete bedroom set I can't sell and she won't make it right. Please feel free to contact me directly - it's too much money for furniture which doesn't come with all parts and you can't replace the 1-4 pieces missing. cherishnortje at gmail UPDATE: After hiring an attorney I was finally able to recover the last of my order about a month later. First time purchase via Internet, other than books from Amazon - and this experience exceeded my expectations. They made me feel comfortable from beginning to end with phone calls and email to stay in touch and give progress reports for delivery dates. I purchased a sofa, 2 chairs and while I had not seen the pieces in person, I was directed to a showroom to view and sit and yes, I even laid on the sofa to get a feel for it. What I did not do was pay the showroom price. My cost working with this group was about 40% less than the retail. To top it all off with great service ...they even moved my old furniture out, to place the new furniture in a different way that makes my room look larger - WOW! Love my new great room. Can not say enough nice things, but want others to know my experience exceeded my expectations! I am looking for a new Dining Room and I know who I am going to call for my major investment! more

I have been looking to complete a bedroom group that was discontinued. I know I should have purchased everything at once, but did not have the available funds at the time. When I did have funds to complete - I could not find the group anymore. I panicked and starting searching the web for my missing pieces, which were not to be found. Instead, I saw a listing from Rhonda and contacted her and asked for help. I purchased a dresser and mirror to complete set - was so thankful I found Rhonda for she did not have the pieces -but she found them for me! Not only was the price right - the quality and service was perfect! So my comment is easy, perfect ,great quality and customer service - will work with this company again and recommend to anyone that asks! I got my new Dining Table last week and when it was delivered - it was just like Christmas! Perfect..Exactly what I ordered and the price was half of what I had priced it at on the web. I worked with Rhonda a few years ago and was so glad I reached out to her when I decided to purchase a new Dining Group. She is such a wonderful lady and I can't say enough good things about her . The follow up is always on target - she helped me find the perfect table and chairs for she remembered my home from before. She even helped me choose a new color for paint in my Dining Room - as a courtesy and did not charge me for her additional time. Even with the cost of shipping and delivery , I saved a bundle! The quality of everything I have ever purchased from her is above reproach and I would recommend her to anyone ...anytime...anywhere! I had purchased a full bedroom set from The Design Doctors a few months ago. I had worked personally with Rhonda, who provided me with phone calls and emails to keep me up to date with my order. The delivery team that came to install our furniture was quite courteous. I will admit that there were a few unforeseen issues that arose, however they were beyond the control of both myself and the Design Doctors. Even though these issues came up, Rhonda was able to work with me and make sure that everything was ok. I was a bit skeptical at first since I had never heard of the Design Doctors before, but I will definitely recommend them in the future. My wife loves her new bedroom set, and we have the Design Doctors to thank for it! more

I have one word for Rhonda and Melissa's work - GENIUS. \r \r Being in a design profession for over two decades, it was hard for me to relinquish creative control for the day it took for Design Doctors to transform my home. Boy, am I glad I did!\r \r I had slowly acquired items I adored over the years with no regard whatsover to how they would all flow together. When we moved into our new home, I was at a loss as to how to arrange all the furniture, artwork and decorative objects. After poring through interior design books and logging in countless hours of HGTV, I still couldn't figure out the right layout for the living room, let alone what rug to use to tie together the existing contrasting furnishings.\r \r When Rhonda and Melissa walked in, they immediately knew what to do. They ""got"" my eclectic modern/organic/tribal aesthetic right away and ran with it, suggesting items that would complete the rooms, saving me $ every single step of the way. \r \r They transformed every single room simply by rearranging the furniture, hanging items on walls, and creating beautiful vignettes from existing objects. Also, they found me the most perfect rug, breathtaking Tibetan doors to hang over the mantel as artwork and to-die-for unique mirrors, all at unbelievable prices. The living room, which once looked like a pieced together mish-mash, now looks like it could have been featured in the pages of Elle Decor. It's amazing what Rhonda and Melissa can do.\r \r Not only do they have a discerning eye and a masterful sense of composition, but they have wonderful personalities as well. The whole experience was wonderful from beginning to end. I have been in bad health for the past year and moved to the area for a new start. I was excited about the change in venue, until the movers left me with boxes and furniture stacked or just left willy nilly and a huge task in from of me. I just could not do it, so I found a company that could and that company was Design Doctors. I left my new home for 3 days and went to a hotel to get out of their way and when I returned....it was a miracle! My fairy godmothers, better known as Design Doctors, had unpacked, washed and put away all the dishes and the kitchen was organized! The furniture was arraigned in the ""most delightful way"" , every room was a wonderful surprise! I would have never been able to do all of this in a year's time, much less 3 days! I needed some new things and they even brought those in for my approval , which I approved everything. The prices for the new items were very fair and I would have spent so much time trying to find the right things, but they did it for me. My home is beautiful and I feel better just for knowing this company and their polite staff. Nothing was damaged and care was shown in everything they did. So Rhonda and I argue on textures. I'm a big fan of Dwell magazine and I'm extremely picky when it comes to aesthetic. Our visions can be different, but Rhonda is very accommodating and can pick up on the look I'm going for and execute it very well as well as throw in some nice ideas that I hadn't thought of. Where Rhonda and her team are masterful is the art of placement. They can redesign your layouts and do things with your spaces that unlock the hidden potential in a home. My wife recently graduated from vet school and I accepted a job in the Orlando area so I asked Rhonda to stage my home for resale. When she was finished I couldn't believe what she had done to our living room in particular. The rest of the job was fantastic but I didn't even realize that we could open up our living room like that to turn it into such a usable space. I have had a wonderful working relationship with Rhonda Edwards for over 18 months. We initially met through the Home Show. My husband actually met Rhonda first, and after a brief conversation with her about the Design Doctors philosophy, he brought me back a brochure and encouraged me to call her.. I am so glad I did! Since last summer, Rhonda and Melissa have worked diligently with me on a long, grueling re-model project. They have met with me at the work site (which has been an absolute disaster area) numerous times. As a realtor, I have had the company, Design Doctors, stage homes that are on the market to sell. They have used their own furnishings as well as staged with my clients existing furnishings. The results were amazing. Even in this market, I had one offer within two weeks, and in the other homes, have had very positive feedback. They are professional and very easy to work with. The furniture they bring in is high quality. I have had nothing but a pleasurable experience with Rhonda, Melissa and Linda. I am a working mother of three boys, so you can imagine how hetic my schedule is. We moved into our home about three years ago. Three years later, we still had boxes! I was not happy with my home and I was tired of thinking I would get to it sometime. Sometime never seemed to happen. I called Design Doctors and met with Rhonda. She listened to what I had envisioned and set a date with me, for a redo. Because of the boxes, it was actually 2 days.They brought in one oriental rug, a chest, and three new lamps.I had priced it on the web and their prices were bet ter than anything I had seen.
