Wonderful Service 9/20/2012

Matt showed up at the scheduled time today and completed my service request quickly and accurately. He replaced the broken torsion spring and the other spring as well. He also upgraded several parts on the door that have significantly improved the doors operation. Now, it is so quiet my neighbors will stop complaining about the noise! more

Dependable Garage Door answered the phone and was professional for the first hello. They were able to send a tech out within an hour to service and repair my garage door. Matt was knowledgeable in what was wrong and explained Garage Door 101 to me and allowed me to make the decisions with regards to the repairs. I was given choices in the level of products to re install and why those were more expense or in some cases less expensive. The repair was done in an appropriate amount of time and I am very happy with the quality of work and the overall value I would recommend Dependable to anyone who needs their garage door serviced or repaired. Professional Service 8/3/2012

What we had done: We had a garage panel replaced. Who was our tech.: Matt was our technician. He gave us the estimate & the did the repair work. Price: I would say Matt was not the cheapest or the most expensive on the estimate, but he did seem to be the most knowlegdeable and I did take several estimates from other local companies. Service: I felt comfortable with Matt being at our home and the service was done quickly. Timely: Took estimates on one day, called to schedule the work order the next day and the garage door was repaired within a few hours of my call. In a word: Professional more

I was told the service person would arrive between 10am and noon. Matt arrived at 10am. He was knowledgeable and professional. He quickly assessed the problem and also recommended a needed additional repair. The work was done faster than I anticipated which is always a bonus as I consider a garage door opener a necessity. I selected Dependable Garage Door Service from the internet and with the excellent service, I will be recommending them at every opportunity. more

Overcharged for 1hour of labor 3/26/2012

They charged me $250 for 1hr of labor and used an existing part to fix my garage. Spoke with the owner about being charged a fair amount, he asked what I did for a living and basically told me to take the unfair rate. His name was Johny and he said he was the owner. I would say $125 for 1hr of labor would have been more than a fair price. Please do not do business with this man or this company more

Garage door opener 3/5/2012

My opener crapped out Sunday night. I called them at 8.30a Monday, they were out here by 9.30a and done by 10.15a. Matt was friendly and informative. Highly recommend. Ask for Matt. more

Very Happy with the Results! 10/19/2011

I enjoyed work with Gary. He is dependable (ON TIME) and listens very well. I have a commercial over-size garage door and it need a complete new set-up and repairs after over 10 years of non-used. Gary reviewed all of my options and costs. He understood my concerns. He consulted with the opener manufacture and worked with other experts to provide me w/ the best solution. The installation of the opener and maintenance of the door took most of the day, but it was completed correctly and is working fine. Such a pleasure to have the door working!! I am grateful to Gary and Dependable Garage Door Service. I will happily recommend them to anyone in need of garage door service. more

Friday night, I my garage door spring snapped into two pieces. Saturday morning at 8am, Gary, with Dependable Garage doors, came and repaired my door. He was extremely knowledgeable, worked quickly, and was pleasant to talk to. My door is working like new. I would recommend DGDS to anyone with garage door issues. more

Excellent Service and repair 10/2/2011

Gary was the tech who serviced my garage door on a Sunday, it was Fathers Day too. He was fast, knowledgeable and had my door up and going with in 30 minutes. I was so impressed that I even recommended him to my friend that just had her door service by him. Gary was fantastic!!! more

Garage door opener replaced FAST 9/8/2011

One of the things I do in my job is to evaluate customer service experience. Matt arrived on time, diagnosed the problem in just seconds, had the items he needed on the truck, and installed it in about 45 mins. He provided several options, all reasonably priced. After installation he explained the operation so well that even our cats understood. He noted other items that would need service, the timeframe, and the approximate cost...without pressure. The new opener is quieter by far, smaller, and the remotes are not bulky. The 'rolling code' feature prevents thieves from triggering it and your neighbor getting the same code. I highly recommend Dependable Garage Door Service. more

I Am a Repeat Customer for a Reason 6/22/2011

We had these folks replace our opener a few years ago, and it was a fantastic, no-worries experience. So when our door decided to give out the other day, I called Dependable first - and I was not disappointed. Gary came out right away, told us the cost up-front, and showed me the results after the job was done and let me test things out. He explained exactly what had gone wrong, and how he would keep it from happening in the future. He even answered questions from my 10-year-old son about electricity... you just don't find service like this anymore. A fabulous company, with a solid stake in their service. more

I highly recommend this company. Throughout my experience with Dependable everyone was knowledgable and helpful and I learned a lot about garage doors and door openers and how to care for them in the future. I am impressed that a company will teach their customers how to care for the products they install so they won't have to return for more service. In Dallas and needed Garage Door Repair 6/7/2011

Called Dependable and after Googling "Dallas Garage Door Repair" and saw them there. They showed up on the same day (I figured it would be a couple days at least) and they didn't gouge me. The tech was nice and I even brought them something to drink from the house (no not beer lol). I would use them again and would recommend them to those that ask. more
