My mom did the implants and she's very satisfied with their services. she only had to go to the clinic 2 times. that's it!! the dental assistants were very helpful and nice. more

My experience at Dental Republic today was phenomenal. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The dental assistants were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and I saw the dentist within minutes of arriving. more

I went in for my six-month routine cleaning and had exceptional service from start to finish. The ladies up front greeted me immediately with warm smiles and checked me in. No more than 5 minutes later, I was called to the back, where the dentist came in and introduced himself. He looked in my mouth and said that a basic cleaning would be sufficient. He didn't try to sell me anything extra, which I loved. Upon checking me out, the ladies up front scheduled my next appointment for 6 months out and promised to call and remind me when it came closer. They even sent me on my way with a cold bottle of refreshing water. This place had impeccable 5-star service. I am definitely calling this place ""home"" for dentistry and highly recommend you do too. more

I took my 9 year old daughter to this dentist yesterday and Dr. Bang was wonderful with her. She had a cavity, which Dr. Bang showed me by holding a separate mirror in her mouth for me to see... a small black spot on her back molar. He explained the options we had: a regular filling, a tooth-colored filling, etc. and the prices for each after insurance. I was very grateful that he took the time the give us all the information we needed to make the best decision, both financially and esthetically. They were able to do the filling the same day, and the whole process went very smoothly. I will definitely recommend this dentist to my friends and family. more

Having had a very bad experience at another local dentist (Family & Cosmetic Dentistry), I was leery. Seems like my insurance doesn't have a big list to choose from (Guardian DHMO). I was pleasantly surprised. The facility is clean and modern and the staff is friendly (a BIG switch from the other place). I assumed we'd have to schedule a second visit for the cleaning, but they would have done it on the first visit. They had no problem letting me hang around nearby while my daughter was in there (the other place demanded I stay in the waiting room while strangers took my young daughter back....I don't think so!). I came armed with my insurance plan's fee schedule, as the previous facility had charged me $20 for who knows what, when bi-annual check, x-rays, cleaning, sealants, and flouride are all 'no charge'. Well, I didn't even need the fee schedule at Dental Republic, they didn't even try to slip anything in. Very up front and honest. I was fortunate that my daughter (13 years old) did not have any cavities, so she got a clean bill of dental health. I felt very comfortable making an appointment for my 6 year old for next month. \r \r The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that there was a bit of a wait, both to get called back and to see the doctor. Went ok for a 13 year old, but hopefully will go faster for my 6 year old, as he's not much for waiting. more

I brought my family here very nice office. Its close to home front desk ladies really helpful with insurance.\r Dr. Bang made us feel comfortable. We all needed a lot of treatment and they really work with you financially.\r Pros: Nice Staff Clean Office more

Have Cigna HMO and living in Allen, it was logical to select this dentist. Went there with an 8 year old who is losing her baby teeth. The insurance covers the cleaning, xray and checkup. The oriental dentist (possibly vietnamese) stated the child need THREE fillings (at a cost of $20 each). 2 of these teeth were about to come out, being baby teeth. He also stated I needed an FMD - full mouth cleaning which would cost $70. I refused the 'paid' cleaning and told them to do the regular 6 month covered cleaning - he refused. I told them I wanted copies of the x-rays to get a second opinion - they said they were $30 each to get a copy - I argued and they said they'd give them to me the next day at no charge. The next day I turned up - they were of course not ready and would take 'half an hour' to make a copy. I said mail them to my other dentist. They promised they would and never did.\r \r I went to my other dentist for a second opinion and they said my teeth were perfectly fine and were well looked after. For my daughter, they said NO fillings were needed and that the teeth had been excellently maintained.\r \r This dentist is FRAUDULENT and conning patients for services that are not needed. It is convenient if you live in Allen, but I STRONGLY recommend you go to Plano or McKinney so you are not ripped off. I have reported this dentist to the insurance company, State Attorney and Insurance Fraud.\r \r I have had bad experiences with Monarch Dental in the past and swore never to use them again, but the one in McKinney (121 and Custer) was the only one willing to see us on short notice. They are EXCELLENT and I would not go anywhere else!!! Cons: Fraudulent, cons, disgusting service. more
