Dental Center at Baptist

This is the most unprofessional business I've ever encountered. I can't believe that Baptist Hospital allows them to practice in their facilities. more

This place is extremely unprofessional. First off I made an appointment and they never called to check with me before the date. No big deal I thought, I can keep track of my appointments. Then I went in for my appointment and had to wait half an hour to see someone. They didn’t even do a cleaning, just some x-rays. I was told that I needed four crowns, and they never even mentioned the option of getting fillings. They rushed everything and I never got to speak with the dentist as she quickly left after recommending crowns. Finally I went to pay and this is when things got worse. I was given an estimate for all the procedures they wanted to do, with no options to choose from. Then one of the associates told me that I should sign up for the CareCredit credit card. I declined and she kept insisting that I should sign up for it. I do not like using credit cards and did not want to sign up for it. She then told me that she had already sent my information in and I was approved. I did not know what to say, I was very upset. She never got my permission, and I never received any terms for the credit card. I left feeling very upset, and now have to go through the trouble of canceling a credit card I never wanted in the first place. This place is very unprofessional, they harass their clientele and their quotes were higher than any other dentist I’ve used before. Avoid this place at all costs. more

There staff has no manners at all, i am taking my files and leaving, I dont know why i torture myself. more

I am a new patient. I made a first appointment that the office cancelled a few days later. I rescheduled. And a few days later they cancelled that appointment. I have never managed to see a dentist. I have decided that I have wasted enough time on this group and will look elsewhere for my dental care. more

First, I waited a good 45 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. Second, it's so cold in there I was literally shaking the whole time and trying to cover up with whatever I could find in my purse. It wasn't until 10 minutes before I left (after being there already 2 hours) that anyone offered me a blanket (If I would have known they had them I would have asked and will do that as soon as I get there next time). Dr. Amador and his assistant, Alex I believe, are very kind (as is the check out staff and Maricio who cleans my teeth) and they are the only reason I don't find another dentist. more

I'm currently suffering from a badly done root canal that was done twice at this center. I've spent too much money here and I'm now in a jam. I wouldn't recommend this dental place to anyone. Very pricy more

Horrible!!! Dont waste your time coming to this office. They check you and want you out right away. The assisstants only complain about how much work they have and how they cant wait to go to lunch while your mouth is wide open and in pain. more

I love this place. The staff is great, the doctors are great, but their business execution sucks. Appointments are never on time and rescheduling is not a surprise. My advise to the doctors and Mike B. is to either get more staff or schedule appointments on time. I understand there are business decisions to make but you actually lose more money by cancellations. more

I've selected a new dental office as Dr Sosa is rude and rough. She gave me attitude when I spoke to her about the 2+ hour wait on a rainy day. Every visit with Dr Sosa was at least an hour wait. Ileana, the hygenist and the office staff are very courteous and helpful. more

My son's appointment was on a Saturday morning @11am. We did not get out until 1:45, more than 2 1/2 hour wait!!! It was way too long, may be they should not schedule several appointments at once for 1 dentist. If this happens again, we will change dentist. The staff was courteous besides the fact that many patients ran out of patience. more

I had my appointmet rescheduled three times in one month because the dentist went home early because the dentist didn't feel well. Three times in one month is pretty obsurd. I decided to schedule an appointment with another dentist outside of their practice and the dentist had informed me that the two fillings I had done were defective which I had a feeling because I felt it when anything cold would hit the tooth. more

There was a misunderstanding with my appointment time and I arrived to my appointment 20 minutes late. I understand that this can cause a delay in services. However, when I arrived the waiting room was EMPTY. After waiting about 10 minutes, I was informed that because I was late for my appointment, I would not be seen and had to reschedule. If all appointments were sent with a 15 minute time frame, I could understand what happend. I have recommended this service to many of my friends. I will not after the way I was treated at my last appointment. If I had not paid for my Dental work, I would research a new facility. more

Great facility and they accept my insurance. The General dentistry has great customer service, follow up, and are very attentive. However, the specialty group is a different a different story. I had long waits for my procedure, they tried to charge me more, and no follow up calls on "how are we doing." I asked for a call back, never got one. I asked for a prescription for over the counter drugs, never got it. Maybe the assistant is overwhelmed but there is a lack of attention to detail. Overall I rated general a 4 and specialty at 2.5, which avg. 3.5. more
