A pleasant dental experience 11/22/2011

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dental Associates of Hollywood. From making appointments to undergoing procedures to payment they ensure your experience is as convenient and painless as possible. First, they work around my impossibly tight work/school schedule to get me prompt appointments, and they remind me days before the appointment via text and email; very convenient. Next, my dentist, Dr Rezaie, is professional, efficient, and kind. Her dental work is excellent (I appreciate it every time I smile in a mirror) and she is always concerned with my comfort level. Finally, they work surprisingly well with my insurance company. They put me on an interest-free payment plan for my deductable, and my out-of-pocket expense always has me leaving with a grin on my face. more

the worst treatment 11/20/2011

i have humana gold and made a appt. for a relining of my upper denture and lower. the dentist was in and out of my room so many times i was getting dizzy. they could not do the lower partial because of a snap in appliance on the bottom. the cleaning of which i paid extra for was the worst ever. i complained to the mgr. by phone and the answer i got was she was their best. that was a joke. i am now back with my denist in aventura getting great service and a cleaning that can be called a cleaning.i will certainly not return for the worst service ever, more

Not happy that I had an appointment with Dr Kushner and was never contacted that he was no longer with the practice. Also was given a Treatment plan on Delta DentalPatient No 1147000 6/01/11 that included $230.00 a month for 12months interest free Please review the treatment plan and inform me what is the balance that I will owe & will it be able to be ona payment plan interest free more

Bait and Switch Dentist 8/19/2011

They offer specials but have a disclaimer. My 89.00 special was over $200.00 in the end. I was told I needed deep cleaning and injections but really didn't. I went to another dentist and was never told I needed a deep cleaning. So unprofessional more

It was amazing how relaxing and easy my first visit was. The office staff and dental assistants were great and my checkup was fast and easy and the dentist really put me at ease. Can't wait to go back!! more

Dental Cleaning vs hearing a clients needs... 7/21/2011

I doubt this forum will be acknowledged as prior emails to this dental office were not. As always, the hygienist was excellent and did a thorough job. She knows her stuff. All my prior dental work was handled by Dr. Kushner and he too is excellent however communication with this office is poor, at best. I sent emails and even called ahead to notify this office that I was not interested in add'l x-rays, etc.... JUST A CLEANING and not one person along the way was aware of it and all proceeded to initiate the service. So, good technical work, bad customer relations. more

Wonderful staff 7/19/2011

I haven't been to the dentist in over 12 years because of a bad experience. Needless to say it was time for a cleaning and to check for cavities. The staff when you enter, are polite and greet you. My appointment was on time. First was the cleaning and I was so nervous that my hands were sweating. I knew my teeth were bad because I smoke and drink tea. Andrea cleaned my teeth and it was painless I can't belive how smooth it went and I noticed she used all kinds of tools to scrape the crud away. Then it was time to fix one of my two cavities. Kathy made me feel very comfortable and Dr. Berkowitz was gentle and it only took 15 minutes to fix the cavity. I'm no longer afraid of the dentist. Thank you to all the staff at Dental Assoc. Of Hollywood. I'm Lee Ann Clark your #1 fan. Thanks again. YOU ROCK!!! more

The staff, assistants, and dentist all made me feel very comfortable and were very understanding of my anxiety. I had an excellent experience and highly recommend this dental office. more

Staff was courteous, helpful and friendly. Service was great. Dentist should have asked me after last visit if there were any concerns or anything else I wanted done. Otherwise, his service was excellent. more

Going to the dentist is never a pleasant experience, but I have to say that Dr. Berkowitz, Kathy and Andrea made my visit as pleasant as they possibly could. All procedures were explained in detail. I would highly recommend this practice! more

Excellent 1/28/2011

Dental Associates of Hollywood is the best dental office I've ever been to. The entire staff is amazing. Ever since I was a child I have had a terrible fear of going to the dentist, but when I am there I feel very comfortable. The staff is so helpful and really put me at ease. Not only do they calm my fears, but they do fantastic dental work as well! I greatly appreciate the excellent care that I receive from Dental Associates of Hollywood...They are the best!!! more

This offoce calls too often to confirm appointments and on two occasions in the past year, have cancelled the appointment that day after taking time off work to attend. more
