when going into any store regarding an animal, a human being should know to who and whom they are talking to. 1. someone who is making 8.00 to 9.00 an hour and loves animals loads or would not be working there at all. these young people are putting themselves through school and trying hard to stick to an amibition of "should I stay in this career dealing with animals or not ?" this is not a place for folks to come in and react to people who might not know exactly how a bunny should be fed. BUT, these people at Denny's keep their animals well fed, spotless and i8n-tact medically. This is NOT a place where they spay.neuter. the animals are expensive. Why? to avoid folks who do not want an animal to come in and get one because it is cute cuddly when tiny, then throw it a way when they get bored. The cost makes them think and hopefully take care of the animal better. all animals are not MILL cats or puppies. they are mostly mutts and regular kittens from unknown regular tabbies and unknown marked doggies who someone was not responsible enough to spay or neuter. the cost of 250.00 for a cat ensures the cost of over head and feed for the existing felines turtles lizards maggots and assorted bugs and YES, HUGE cock roaches. Dennys is an excellent business and one that should be here in washington state another 100 years or more. High 5 plus. get a book and research an animal please before you purchase. thanks ~s~ more

Just the best pet store ever. I have been using this store for at least 15 years. We recomend to anyone needing or wanting fish pets or supplies. Freindly service for years in this area. They are the best... more

Obviously something has changed. management? Employees did not get their bi-anual pay increases? Have to agree that the fish department is a deth zone. I saw one expensive salt water fish getting attacked by his tank mate. I told the staff and he said "you know how fish are, theyre allways killing eachother" these fish were both $50+ Their prices are simply too high if you shop around. I have been buying a water test kit for $15 for a few years. I saw it at denny's for $21.99!!! Why???? its the same product, same box, why the higher price? because customer service is great? its not! store is clean though but please.... more

This pet store is by far the best one that I have ever seen. It is clean, the animals are well cared for and very friendly. The employees are great and if they do not know the answer to a question they will find out for you. I highly recommend this pet store! more

This store is the best. It is clean, the animals are healthy and the staff actually knows what they are talking about. You can find almost anything you could possibly want at Dennys and if they don't have it, they will try to get it for you! more

I want to say good things- great variety, lots to offer, worth checking out...BUT! Service is ridiculous. I've spent hours in their aquatics without a single offer of help. Questions about their saltwater fish? Forget about it! Fish are in poor condition, sometimes better than others but come on, pull out the dead fish once and awhile!! I've had similar concerns about the reptiles, setups way too hot, lizards and snakes all in their water bowls, some looked dead. But I really don't want to be all negative, some good deals on tanks, and a very large selection of necessities for all pets. If you know exactly what you want, check it out. If you have questions on animals or fish, good luck surfing the web cause the staff here isn't going to help you. more

I thought this store was great at first because they have a very large variety of items, but they are way over priced. I can get the same 20 pound bag of cat food at Petco for $10 less. That’s a big difference. Also, when ever I go in I notice that the rodents are always fighting and injured. Last time I was there (last week) one of the male teddy bear hamsters had his eyes scratched up and was bleeding. The employees didn’t even notice. When looking for a kitten I went here. But they are WAY WAY over priced. $250 for a kitten and he/she was not even fixed yet. I ended up going to MEOW in Kirkland and adopted a kitten for $95 that was fixed, had all his shots, micro chipped, tested for diseases and as friendly as can be! Overall I would never buy an animal from this store, but if you are looking for something very pacific for your pet it will most likely be at this store. more

I love this pet shop! First of all, this pet shop is VERY clean!!! No smell! I checked rodents cages and they were very clean too. It makes me really happy! They sell cute bunny's and guinea pigs too. (And you can pet them!) The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Price is little bit expensive compare with other pet shop. But still really good pet shop! more
