Debs Family Disco

I cannot speak highly enough about how great a Deb's Family Disco party is, having just had our daughter's 7th birthday party with her this past weekend. She was wonderful to work with from start to finish - very responsive to my questions and even worked on customizing a music playlist with my daughter. At the party itself, the restaurant space had one area that really transforms well into a disco, particularly with the great disco lights. My daughter loved being carried in on Deb's shoulders, getting to have spotlight dances with each of her friends, and leading them along with Deb's dance team, in fun group dances like the Wobble. Also unique to this kind of party is the way parents are really included in the fun; we had parents really getting down - capped off with a dance off between the kids and parents. The only downside is that it went too fast! Her friends and she are still talking about it however. more

\r Deb, Thank you so much! The party was fantastic. So many people told me what a great time they had. Someone said it was like going to Disney World for an hour and a half. A totally unexpected treat for everyone. The kids loved the dancing, the princesses, Wonder Woman, the bouncy house and the tattoos and face painting. The grown ups loved the drinks! It's the first party I've given where I barely had to do anything so I had a great time too. You made it very easy. Here's to the Debs! more

Doing an 11 year old birthday for a girl who thinks she's ready for her Sweet 16 can be a challenge so I was very happy to find that there exists a real disco for tweens. Deb and the DJ genuinely cared about what my daughter wanted and spent a good deal of time before the party planning with her -- her entrance song, the song the kids would sing on the mike, the dance off song, etc. The resulting party was a HUGE HIT! The airbrush graffiti cake was truly remarkable and the light-up glowing party favors the DJ gave out on the dance floor high quality and definitely cool by tween standards. We had a chocolate fountain which seemed at first terribly extravagant to me but which actually was priced quite reasonably. In every way the team seemed to know exactly what these kids wanted. My daughter said I gave her the party of her dreams -- and this mama was thrilled! more

The students had an amazing time at our prom. To see the looks on their faces and the way they enjoyed themselves was awesome... Having your team with us allowed us to give our students a more authentic experience and for that we as well as the parents of our students were grateful. more

My daughter just did her First Holy Communion, she wanted a Disco Party so we went to Deb. I have to say that the kids (and even us adults) had a BLAST!!! From the dancing to the food...everything was professionally planned. There was another party going on at the same time as ours and the DJ and staff made sure that both parties have a great time together, it worked out WONDERFUL!! Deb makes sure you have the BEST PARTY.... I showed her a picture of the cake we wanted and that is exactly what we got!! A BIG THANK YOU to Deb and Team for making my daughter so HAPPY...... she said this was the BEST PARTY EVER!! more

We hired Debs Disco to entertain a group of 4 and 5 year olds at my daughter's birthday party on the roof top of a hotel in NYC. AMAZING party thanks to Deb and her staff! Coordinating with Deb was an amazingly easy process and her suggestions were a big hit! Everyone loved the light up tiaras, microphones, disco ball necklaces, and other favors the staff gave out during the party. We ordered our cake through her which was first quality and everyone loved the fireworks on the cake. The staff was truly energetic and fun and the fact they kept the kids occupied for so long was great~!...It was so much fun that most all the adults participated. We were so happy to receive a CD of the dance songs so we can dance at home and always remember the event. A great big THANK YOU! To Deb and her staff! Thanks for making the party a hit and one to remember. We will see you again next year! more

This is our second time doing a double birthday party with Debs Family Disco. The first time, 4 years ago, we did the party at Debs' night club. The staff and facility were amazing, but the kids were not mature enough for us to declare the party a total success. This year, with our kids older and more ready to appreciate the disco atmosphere (son turning 5, daughter turning 7), the experience was much better. In fact, this was among the best kid parties we've ever been to! Debs team made us look like hero hosts! Lots of kudos from our guests! We had about 80 children and 150 guests in total. Debs staff came to our venue (Ariel and Batman dancers along with DJ) and brought props and music. They were very organized during the planning phase of the party. Their music selections were SPOT ON. The 7 year old crowd knew nearly every song, and danced almost continuously throughout the party. The 5 year olds also enjoyed the action. Nearly every child left with a big smile and exhausted from so much dancing and laughing. Batman and Ariel definitely injected positive energy into the event. They were happy and engaged the entire time. The kids were drawn to them like magnets, and a wonderful dancing dynamic was created in spite of some shy kids in attendance. For anyone else planning a party like this, here is some advice: (a) Debs Family Disco is great; (b) make sure that you have space for the parents to mingle, a bit removed from the dancing and music; (c) as with any party, having a good food and drink assortment is key; (d) be sure helpers are on duty to assist guests with drinks, food, and general things that come up with little kids. We did these things this time around, and it worked out very well. Our kids and guests had a great time. We recommend Debs Family Disco for sure. more

Deb and her crew are so full of energy - everyone said it was the best birthday party (for 7 yr. olds) they had ever been to! Deb literally ran to the new guests and gave the grownups margaritas and kids disco necklaces the MINUTE they walked in the door. Then she ran back to the dance floor to keep the crowd going. She carried my daughter on her shoulders for the first song, and just in general made sure all had a great time. The venue is lovely and intimate, and the dance floor is awesome. The food and the drinks were great, and the speed with which the crew took care of dinner and cake was amazing! more

We were in awe of Deb and her dj Jacob!! Honestly, Jacob was so amazing and full of energy it was hard not to have fun and get up and dance (which many adults did!) He went so far above and beyond what he needed to do, making the party really what it was. The kids adored him and the parents raved about him. Thank you so much for your help in making Sophie's party amazing, two years in a row. more

Just had the quintessential PERFECT PRINCESS PARTY! We had all 7 princesses and honestly these actresses were the spitting image. Better than the parade at Disney World! And not only were these women truly beautiful, but also so sweet and fun with the kids. The children were positively enchanted. My daughter sat on Jasmine's lap at cake time and when she hugged Arielle I knew I'd really made her dreams come true! By the way, the prince and princess party favor bags are excellent and castle cake stunning too. more

Deb's family Disco is great! We did a party for our 5-year-old and not only did she and her friends enjoy it, but so did the adults. deb took care of everything, thoughtfully and professionally. We chose our playlist; the gifts were handled expertly and nothing was lost; the food was great (and in huge quantities) and she was beyond generous with her time and energy. I can't wait to have another party there! more

My daughter had the BEST time at her party, as did all her friends. Everything was GREAT...the DJ, the party captain, the dancers, the glam artist, the food, the cake and the favor bags. We hired Deb to handle our twins b'day party at my photo studio. Deb sent 2 of her employees to cover the event and they couldn't have been better! We had 25 kids moving and shaking the entire time. My twins had a blast and I think the parents were just as entertained. Thanks to Deb and her team for making the day a memorable one! more

I just had my Bat Mitzvah at Family Disco and it was awesome. Not only cuz it was mine (LOL) but EVERYONE said it was the best. The MC was so funny and cool and never pushy. The dancers were beyond. Like Dancing with the Stars quality dancers. Deb was really nice and found a way to get me the favors I wanted for less $ so that I could get lots. She also got me all these custom designed airbrush hats that rocked. I love you Deb for everything you did for me and giving me the Bat Mitzvah of my DREAMS! more

Excellent value, spirited profesional entertainers, gorgeous colorful disco, fun food and bar (loved the cotton candy !) and the kids were joyfully entertained throughout. My son and his buddies had a ball playing freeze dance and limbo and jamming on their inflatable guitars like the ""rock stars"" they fancy themselves to be. You can bring your own cake but Family Disco's cakes are extremely good and the kids went wild over the cake's huge sparklers. We indulged in a few fancy extras they offer, the most popular being the big bouncy castle. Five stars for Family Disco! more
