I've been going to Lauren for over 3 years; she is fantastic, professional, friendly and a miracle worker. I have very fine hair and she always seems to work magic with it. I leave the salon relaxed and feeling like a million bucks. Salon is clean, soothing, appointments are always on time, and all the ladies that work there are down to earth. more

I love getting my hair cut here. It's always so relaxing. Amanda does a great job with the haircut and is so good about asking me what I like and explaining what she used. I tell all my friends how much I love it! more

I had a haircut and highlights done, both of which came out beautifully. I also had a makeup consult and brow wax. Best brow shaping I have ever had. The entire salon is extremely relaxing and staff are friendly and welcoming. Plus was the complimentary facial and hand treatment. Only drawback was the fact that it took over three hours. This was probably due to the natural dyes which take longer to set in, but the stylist was also a bit slow. Otherwise, fantastic experience! more

I really wanted to like this place, and yes I made some mistakes by not being firm about what I am comfortable with, but when the stylist stated that I shouldn't have short hair due to my hair type, I didn't expect her to give me short layers around the crown of my head. In the past, when a stylist says they are giving me "long layers", I always assumed that meant that the layer is maybe an inch above the longest length. Not the case this time. My "long layers" are over three inches from the bottom of the longest length. And as for the "styling", that was a joke. I came in w/frizzy hair and left w/frizzy hair and a couple of curls. And stupid me, at the time I said I liked it. Then I got home and really looked at the mess that was created. more

I have had my hair cut by Amanda and Nikki and they both did an awesome job. They are both very knowlegable and helpful. They are very patient in explaining what products they use. Diane is awesome as well. Very relaxing and non hurried. more

This salon is an excellent choice for all salon services North of Boston. I love Aveda and they carry all Aveda products and color and offer an amazing, complimentary facial and hand massage that makes you feel like the bill you pay at the end is all worth it. more

Deborah Coull Salon provides excellent service in a relaxing spa atmosphere. I found everyone in the salon to be professional, proficient and friendly. I love that they really listen to what I want and discuss everything with me before hand. The craziness of other salons is very off putting to me, so I especially appreciate the relaxing atmosphere of the salon. more

I have just recently moved from NH to the North Shore. I have difficult thick red hair and Amanda my stylist was fantastic. She knew exactly what I wanted and made the right suggestions. Also Debbie did a great job on my brows and told me about make-up I could use to tint them as in Mass it is illegle to get them tinted at a salon. Thanks I'll be back! more

Deborah coulee salon did such an amazing job with me and my bridal parties hair for my wedding! Everyone looked so beautiful and was so pleased when leaving the salon! They set up a light breakfast for us that was a perfect wayvto start the day. Lauren did my hair and it came out amazing! I was so so so very happy, can't thank her enough! more

I've been visiting Deborah Coull in Beverly for a couple of years now, and facials with Diane have survived many personal budget cuts! When I first went to her my acne was terrible (this has been a lifelong problem). She went to work, and my skin is now generally blemish-free. Clear skin isn't the only benefit, however. All month long I look forward to an hour of pure relaxation and enjoyment. Diane is a perfect combination of calming and fun. Plus incredible skill! Diane is also incredible with makeup. She did the makeup for a friends wedding, and we all looked great. She has also done makeup application for my friends and I, and has a real talent for finding the right combinations for each person. She is able to compliment perfectly - we look great, but not overdone or unnatural. She never pushes sales and is very honest on what's needed and what can wait. I highly recommend her for anyone who needs their makeup done. Nikki, who cuts my hair, is equally skilled - with hair! I have referred her to multiple friends, all of whom have called me with rave reviews. We totally trust her advice and skills. She has given suggestions to friends on their hairstyle that really make a difference - cute bangs, a little color. She is friendly and personable - really a perfect stylist. When you meet these two, you will immediately love them. Can you tell I love this salon? more

I am a summertime resident on the north shore and had the good fortune of finding this salon three years ago. The Aveda website directed me to salons in the area and I made an appointment at the Deborah Coull Salon in Beverly. Nikki has done my hair for the past 3 years and I simply love how she performs her magic. Friendly and professional. Very clean salon. Plus the complimentary hand massage and mini facial were an unexpected bonus. more

I had my hair cut by Amanda Quinn last night and I absolutely love it. It was the second time I had my hair cut at Deborah Coull Salon and although my stylist is not working at the salon anymore - Danielle - I decided to give Amanda a shot because I really love the Salon's service, the location is convenient to me and the price is fair. I absolutely love the massage and the complimentary facial and my hair looks great! I'm now a regular for waxing (with Diane) and I will certainly be back when I need a haircut (with Amanda, hopefully she'll still be there :) more
