Oasis in Beverly 1/29/2012

Having a truly relaxed salon where the professional staff is effortless and affable is of inestimable value at the end of a long week. DCS is my oasis in Beverly. Nikki is an amazing color artist. I have my soft blonde with dimension and shine. I will never go anywhere else. more

Great place 1/25/2012

I have been going to this salon for about a year. I am very impressed with the top notch pampering and at a reasonable price ! I always love the cut and the color and they listen to my questions and concerns... and we decide a plan together. Always a very stress free experience. I always get compliments and I don't have "good" hair. more

Asked Amanda to fix a bad haircut and she made it beautiful. I love the whole salon experience at this place; the mini-facial, the atmosphere, the music. And Amanda is an amazing stylist! I'll be back in a few weeks for a color! Please keepup the good work!! more

Great experience 12/31/2011

For my first visit at the DCS, I had booked a hair cut and brow waxing appointment. I was assigned the services of Amanda for the hair cut and, with poise and assurance, she took on the challenge of metamorphosing my hair from very long to a short contemporary style. As a bonus, Amanda was quiet and focused which is far more comfortable to me than a chatty stylist. My brow waxing with Diane was also very well done with gentle, assured gestures. I loved the warm room and of course, all the sensory pleasures of scents and sounds. I have been to Aveda spas and salons before in larger cities and this one easily lives up to the details in care that the brand is known for. Moreover, the salon is located in a part of town that is still awaiting the promises of urban renewal. To find grace and beauty on Rantoul street is precious. I will be sure to return. more

I love this salon! So relaxing from the moment you walk in. The stylists are great--nice, friendly, knowledgeable--and I have always walked out with a great cut! (this is especially exciting since I have really curly hair--harder to find someone that does a good job). Every cut/dye comes with complimentary services, whether that's a free hand massage or shoulder massage with scented oils (this is my favorite!), or mini facial. And the sweet tea they offer you! And the background soothing Pandora music---I just can't go anywhere else now, as much for the great cuts and dyes I get as for the wonderful, peaceful escape every 10 weeks. Definitely worth a visit! more

MASSAGE 11/30/2011

I had a massage with Jamie, it was only my second massage in my life. It was absolutly what I needed. Jamie made me feel very comfortable from the beginning & got all the kinks out of my neck & shoulders. I will be going back periodically to keep those kinks away. This is a great little spa to keep you looking & feeling good. Thank you Jamie. more

an overall great experience 11/14/2011

I just moved from the city to the area and needed a new salon, and am so glad I chose this one! All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and Amanda was great at helping me figure out what color and cut would work best for me. She did a wonderful job, and has created a loyal customer out of me. Also, while I was waiting for my color to set the woman at the front desk offered me a free hand massage, and was so helpful and pleasant. She gave me a tour ( and not he high pressure book a massage appt now type of tour, just a I'll show you the rest of the place..)and asked if I needed anything. Also, the fact that they always offer a free mini facial with a cut/color is a huge bonus. Overall I loved this salon becuase it is clean, unpretentious, warm, has a great open floor plan, it carries aveda products and has a talented staff who are reasonably priced to boot! I can't wait to go back! more

Put to the test, and succeeded! 11/13/2011

I was sick of my hair style and so just asked Amanda to do whatever she wanted. The result - a style that perfectly fits my needs and taste. I wouldn't have thought to pick this style, but I loved it instantly. In each of the three days since, I've been complemented, and asked where I got it cut, several times. more

I love the Deborah Coull Salon in Beverly! I go for facials with Diane and she is always so pleasant. The extras (Aveda tea, brow wax, hand and foot massage) really set DCS apart from the rest! I always leave so relaxed and refreshed. Thanks for offering such great Aveda experience! more

Diane is a secret gem in the suburbs. The salon is fabulous and she is an amazing skin care specialist and brow/make up artist too. The special appt pricing enables me to try different things and treat myself more often. Also it is a nice treat to go during the day w/out worrying about childcare. Deborah Coull Salon is a visit you must put on your to do list. Thank you! more
