For my first visit at the DCS, I had booked a hair cut and brow waxing appointment. I was assigned the services of Amanda for the hair cut and, with poise and assurance, she took on the challenge of metamorphosing my hair from very long to a short contemporary style. As a bonus, Amanda was quiet and focused which is far more comfortable to me than a chatty stylist. My brow waxing with Diane was also very well done with gentle, assured gestures. I loved the warm room and of course, all the sensory pleasures of scents and sounds. I have been to Aveda spas and salons before in larger cities and this one easily lives up to the details in care that the brand is known for. Moreover, the salon is located in a part of town that is still awaiting the promises of urban renewal. To find grace and beauty on Rantoul street is precious. I will be sure to return.
