Excellent Customer Service 4/29/2009

I recently switched cellular service through an ad I found in my AARP periodical. DCN provided me with a no-contract type plan and a free phone on $9.99 plan with 30 minutes a month. This wonderful company provides me with service and on a no-contract basis. No worries like pre-paid. Everyone is very nice & professional. I highly recommended this service to anyone who needs an emergency type plan. Espeically in these hard times where we all have to cut back in our expenses. Dcn allows me to SAVE$$$ money and when I call in there is never a long hold time and I get to speak with a live person. Pros: Personal Service Cons: No online bill pay more

UNETHICAL CROOKS 9/4/2008

I have been a loyal client to DCN Wireless for many years. I?m in the process of transferring my phone number to a different carrier. They never mentioned a fee will be assessed to process this transfer. Each time my new carrier communicates with them they receive different responses. I had an opportunity to address the situation to a representative at DCN Wireless and she decided that she couldn?t give me a valid reply and mentioned she no longer wanted to converse with me. Consequently she decided to hang up on me while I was still speaking. During our brief conversation, I asked to speak to a supervisor and she stated that she was the only supervisor in the entire company. I am not and expert in the wireless field and wanted to discuss this matter with a professional from the company. She opted to end the conversation because they could not provide me an honest answer. I was advised by many people from the mobile industry that this is their common business practice to prevent there clients from leaving there company. I strongly believe the fee was brought on by there retaliation of me closing the account. After the many years as a dedicated customer, the only reason I?m closing the account is the dishonesty and poor service I have been tortured with. The company is misleading and they are not conducting a professional practice. more
