I have nothing but praise for Steve Boxrud and George Williams who handled the recent trade-in/sale of my 2013 Elantra for a 2015 Sonata. The car, also, is a dream. With only one exception, this was a very positive experience.
While my interest rate was reduced from 14.99% to below 9%, it still leaves me paying an awful lot more for my new Sonata than I would consider reasonable. Neither George Williams nor the dealership is responsible for setting the policy that bases the interest rate I am charged solely upon my credit rating. Your many years of experience with me should prove to Hyundai Motor Finance that I am not as great a credit risk as the current interest rate would imply. In my entire life, in fact, I have never reneged on my responsibility to make timely payments for my vehicle, nor is there any reason to suspect that I ever will.
I respectfully request that the lienholder consider a further reduction in my interest rate on this loan. If it is not possible to do so now, will there be a future time when such a reduction might be considered? Is there a recommended procedure for me to follow in that event?
Thank you for any consideration you may extend to me in this matter or for any suggestions you may have.
