don't do Groupon scam 7/24/2014

Groupon deal is a scam for them to try and up sell you. Jason came to my house to clean the furnace. Kept trying to tell me the furnace was at the end of life said it had a bad blower capacitor and he could replace it for $249.00. he had the part with him I declined, bought the same part for $4.86, and replaced it in less than 3 minutes. what a scam RESPONSE FROM Day & Night Mechanical Solutions Inc: We were called out to do a tune up on Mr. Benedict's furnace and we did just that. We explained the issue's with the 1997 model furnace and gave him the option to repair it. He declined and fixed it himself with our recommendation. We used an industry standard pricing guide and check it with our competition on a regular basis. We are pleased that he was able to fix it himself on the advise of our tech. more

Overall they did a satisfactory job 6/26/2014

My experience with Day & Night Mechanical Solutions Inc. left me with a positive impression of their ability and overall I think they did a good job. The only thing I would have wanted to be done differently was the exchange of my thermostat. They took my old one without asking me if I wanted to keep it, which I would have liked to. Day & Night Mechanical Solutions is always good. They helped me with my cooling system every year, and they helped me when I had an emergency with a refrigerator problem. I've been using their services for about 5 years, and they always come on time and do their job. I have had just a very positive experience with them and would highly recommend their services. more

I only insure the very best, and I'm the insurance provider for Day & Night Mechanical Solutions. They also did a little work for me, and it turned out great. They bend over backwards for their customers, and their ethics are probably the best I've ever dealt with in the last 35 years. It's a family run business, and I would strongly recommend them to anyone. I think they go above and beyond in every situation, and I would just recommend them highly. They do have their flaws like everyone else, but they do their best to overcome every obstacle for their customers. Dennis Dauper more

Really pleased 6/12/2014

Day & Night Mechanical Solutions replaced my furnace and added central air in my house that did not have air before. The guys from Day & night were here for a couple of days and they were really great guys. I felt like they had a lot of good info. When I asked more questions, they suggested more things for me to really be able to make a good choice. I was very impressed with everything. I loved all the guys here. They were just great guys. I recently had the county here for an inspection and they told me specifically that Day & Night truly did a great job of putting my system in. I feel like I made a really good choice. Great overall service. 4/9/2014

Day & Night Mechanical Solutions checked a furnace and water heater for a gas leak. They went through everything, and even though they didn't find any issues, they took their time to make sure everything was properly working. I'm a real estate agent, and I've used them for several of my clients. They always help me out when my clients need prompt service. more

Blower so quiet I can't tell when it's on! 4/8/2014

I've used Day & Night Mechanical Solutions Inc before, and I forgot that using them was like day and night. The guy who came over was very knowledgeable, and he went through the whole scenario of replacing my blower. He noticed it wasn't moving as fast as it should, so he replaced another component. Now it's so quiet, I can't tell when it's on! more

I had a great experience overall while working with Day & Night Mechanical Solutions Inc. They were very thorough in their service, came out to do an initial inspection and went through options for fixing the issue based on my budget. Their demeanor was very professional and courteous and I felt comfortable with them. Going forward in the future, if needed be I will use them again and I highly recommend them to anybody looking for a reliable mechanical service. Becoming a regular customer! 4/2/2014

Day & Night Mechanical Solutions Inc has done several things for me, and I've been very satisfied with them. I originally went to them to buy a reconditioned stove. They offered me a competitive, good price. They are very personable and nice to deal with. Shortly after that, my furnace went out. I talked to them about it when they were working on my stove. They gave me a quote for the furnace, and once again, it was competitive. They did great work, and I'm very happy with my furnace. When I had to buy another stove from them, again they gave me a good rate since I'm becoming a regular customer. I also called them to split my gas meter. I've been very happy with them! more

Do a good job 4/1/2014

I've been using Day & Night Mechanical Solutions's service for 8 years or so and every year, they turn off and on my smog cleaner and tune up the furnaces on both my home and rental properties. They also installed a hot water heater and when I had problems with my furnace, they would come out and check on it. I continue to use their service because they do a good job and I like their service personnel. more

Very good service and will be a customer again 3/28/2014

I was not unhappy with any of the services I received from day and Night Mechanical Solutions, Inc. They built a furnace box on my furnace in my rental home that I would have to use special order filters for that I really didn't want to use. He built it so I wouldn't have to use special order filters and could use store-bought ones.They are efficient on coming over and efficient on getting the job done. more

Honest, Knowledgable and they already have my trust!! 1/5/2014

So, I just called Day & Night Mechanical because my heater isn't (wasn't) kicking on... anyway, Sheila had a technician lined up to come out tonight (their after hours costs are just dollars more which was the first sigh of relief) and she also gave me some things to try, and one of the suggestions fixed my problem... Who does things like that anymore??!!?? Who, especially in this economy, doesn't try to scam, nickel or dime you anymore? Day & Night Mechanical does, that's who!! Sheila, was very knowledgeable and is one of the absolute nicest and most patient person to deal with all my questions and babbling. I felt cared for and I wasn't even a customer. After this experience, I am a customer for life with D&N. more

Do great work 12/12/2013

Day & Night installed six systems for me when I flipped houses. They did my whole automobile service shop and they've generally saved me time and headaches. Their workmanship is top quality. It's very nice. I recommend to everybody I know. Even when it was really cold out, I called them when I was having trouble with one of the machines and, though they didn't drop everything they were doing, they came out that same day. They went above and beyond every time I needed them. I would say they're clean and professional and their work is quality. Their prices are fair. That's why I use them and I enjoy them. They do great work. more

Prompt and good work 9/23/2013

Day & Night Mechanical Solutions repaired my unfinished basement for a contractor by rotating the furnace and hot water heater and then installed a cold water return from the second floor. They also returned to repair the shortcomings by the contractor and the unfinished project by rescuing my A/C. They were prompt, returned my phone calls, let me know when they were going to be fifteen minutes to an appointment, and got the work done promptly. Alan Peryam more

Installed AC in my 120 degree attic for me! 7/17/2013

Day & Night Mechanical Solutions was able to get me AC very quickly-in about 3 days from the time I called to the installation day. It was 120 degrees in my attic and they still worked hard for me! That was great! more

Excellent customer service and professional install 7/9/2013

I called Day & Night Mechanical Solutions to get an estimate and they were able to come out very quickly - much more quickly than some other places. They were very rapid in responding to my request. They didn't try to oversell me, which some people try, but had high integrity. The quote was much better than other places. A lot of places that I was talking to were quoting 1-2 week lead times and Day & Night were able to get me scheduled just two working days later. They were out quick to do the install. I almost gave a 4 out of 5 for the total experience because after I decided to go with them, I came to the conclusion that there must have been some numbers that were incorrect on the quote. I did get it clarified with them and that resulted in needing a bigger system than they were planning on installing. They upgraded to the bigger system with no additional charge. It was very clean and professional. more
