Great customer service & beautiful gowns at great prices! 3/8/2011

I have to admit that when I read some of the reviews on line, I was hesitant to make an appointment. But I did, and I am forever grateful! On my first trip, I was a bit early but they let me roam around and look at gowns and bridesmaids dresses on my own. When it was time for my appointment, I met with my wonderful consultant Myriam. You will not be disappointed if you ask for her directly! I told her I was very nervous about choosing a gown since it's one of the biggest days of my life and also because I am a plus size bride. She totally put me at ease and made wonderful suggestions of gowns I otherwise wouldn't have thought to try on my own. And it wasn't about commission because she showed me gowns that were lower priced (299) and gowns that were higher (1250). She thought I looked best in a gown that was lower priced although I was leaning towards a more expensive gown. After a second trip and a third trip (bless her for her patience!!) I finally chose a gown that was just gorgeous from their Oleg Cassini line. I had my accessories in mind and she showed me which ones would look good with the gown. I ended up getting half off my gown and a discount on all the accessories. My mother also got a discount on her dress as did some of the brides. The floor manager was also very helpful and explained bustling of the dress and which gowns seemed to be a better fit. They also introduced me to the woman who would be altering my gown and she answered all my questions patiently and graciously. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and thought they deserved to have a 5 star review. If you are a bride who is a little nervous reading all those bad reviews, I assure you that they are the friendliest and most patient people and will be so helpful in making your decisions for that big day. In addition, my bridesmaids loved working with my consultant and asked to have appointments with her in the future. It was almost sad when I finally bought everything because I knew I wouldn't really be working with her again and it was like working with a friend. Wonderful place that I would recommend to any bride; some of their dresses might be more simple than you would find at some couture shop but they also have some real show-stoppers and wow factor dresses! Just give them a try! \r \r I just want to add one extra tip: make sure that you make an appointment every time you go to David's. It makes it easier for the consultant to focus on you and give you enough time for you to try on gowns; and if you bring your bridesmaids, they will make sure that you have enough time for them to try on dresses as well. Have fun! more

Good experience 10/6/2007

I got my dress at this location and found the salespeople to be very helpful and pleasant. A lot of not great dresses, but I found one that was great, and serveral others I liked. They were imformative about the return policy and were not pushing additional items. \r \r Pros: Pretty dresses, selection, price!! Cons: some not pretty dresses, a little crowded more

All sales final! 8/30/2005

When trying on my wedding dress at David's Bridal, 2 salespeople helping me recommended a veil and tiara, both of which I had not planned to purchase. Being that these women work on commission they made a convincing case for why I would want both items but they neglected to tell me that all sales are final on all merchandise at their store. When meeting with my hairstylist 4 months later I realized I did not want the tiara and was told by Davids Bridal that I could not return it. I had several encounters with salespeople at the store and at no time during any transaction was I told about this sales policy. Be sure to ask! And I would recommend shopping elsewhere for better customer service. more

Terrible Customer Service 10/2/2003

I was the bridesmaid in a friend's wedding last year and she purchased her gown and ours from this store. Terrible customer service. The clerks were unhelpful and the seamstresses very rude. We did our best to work around that because the bride really wanted the dresses from here, but I would never shop there for my wedding nor any other occasion, and I told them so. This is supposed to be a fun day for the bride and they made it miserable and made her uncomfortable. They may be less expensive than other shops....but you'll pay for it in very poor customer service. Pros: Location for bride, Inexpensive Cons: Poor customer service, Limited selection, Poor fittings more
