Last year we added an extension to our garden shed. We had David Thomas Excavating perform the excavation work for the foundation of the shed. They showed up on-time and when promised. David and his crew paid particular attention to not disturb the rest of our yard. The excavation work was done in very tight quarters between the existing shed and trees in the yard. Once the shed was complete, they installed gutter drains, finished the landscaping, planted the grass and cleaned up. Pros: Showed up, when promised. Clean up nicely more

David Thomas Excavating did the digging for the full foundation of a kitchen we added on recently. Great Job. Not only a reasonable and accurate estimate, but good information about actual foundation work, even landscaping/shaping considerations as he dug. A tight squeeze (trees/embankment) on site and special care of an existing foundation wall made whole project come out right. BTW, King Brothers did the foundation pouring and also did a great job. About a month ago, I complained on this site about the fact that David Thomas Excavation left a large block of cement on my lawn after a job they did over a year ago. I paid them the whole amount (mistake) and then called and called asking them to finish up, but with no results. Within a month of posting this review, however, the cement block on my lawn disappeared! So now I've upped my overall rating to three stars, since the work they did was quite good, with many thanks to Citysearch for help with the follow-through! It does seem unfortunate, however, that you have to either owe this company money or write nasty reviews on the internet in order to get them to finish a job.
