My fiancee went to David & Sons for my engagement ring earlier this year. We actually had been looking at rings before we were engaged, and had stopped there to get some ideas/pricing. I of course fell in love with a larger ring than my fiancee had in mind. A few months later, he popped the question with the diamond that I had wanted (or very similar in size and color). I was shocked, I really didn't expect him to purchase that one...honestly, I know that he must've gotten a REALLY good deal, since my fiancee is a bit on the cost-conscience side ;). more

The best place in San Diego to buy an engagement ring! 11/18/2010

I have to be honest, I found David & Sons Fine Jewelers totally by accident. I was in the UTC mall for lunch and walked by one of their advertisements and I noticed it said they would beat any competitors prices, including the internet! Now if a local jewelry store can talk openly about matching the internet competition they have been facing in the past 10 years, they had my attention. But let me give you some background information before I tell about my experience at the store. more

My husband got my anniversary ring from David and Sons. Fay and Emil not only worked with my husband to create the most beautiful custom design ring of my dreams, but they were able to do it all within the budget he asked. I love my ring and I get so many compliments on it. I tell them it's from David and Sons. more

My fiance shopped and shopped when it was time to buy an engagement ring and was immediately turned off by the BIG stores who ran his credit the second he walked through the door. He felt like he was being pushed into things he couldn't afford and that I wouldn't like. more

David and Sons Fine Jewelers in the UTC mall are far and above the best jewelers in San Diego. Everyone in the store is very friendly and helpful. My wife and I have purchased jewelery there and absolutely love them. We have had older jewelery repaired there and everything came out perfect and at the BEST price. more

Top Knotch Jeweler with GREAT skills and service 7/24/2010

I came in to get my ring cleaned and they noticed that I had lost two little stones and offered to replace it while I waited. I was kind of panicked, but they explained why I had lost the stones and also explained how they could fix it so I wouldn't lose more! They not only fixed it while I waited, but they made me feel better to boot! I had bought my ring elsewhere (far from San Diego) and they told me that I could stop by anytime and have it cleaned by them--for free! Talk about piece of mind. Thanks David and Sons for your great service and skill. You definately have a new customer for your store. more

learned more about diamonds in one visit than knew 20 years 7/24/2010

I cannot believe other jewelers do not teach their customers about diamonds like these guys do. It makes it so much easier spending a boatload of money on something when you really understand what your buying. What other places are missing out on, David & sons is making up for and getting all the customers as a result. Best place in San Diego for diamonds is here. Pros: they teach you about diamonds to help you undestand/choose Cons: wish I knew about them 20 years ago more

There's no question that my fiance and I feel fortunate to have found David and Sons jewelry! Outstanding service and top of the line jewelery, all for a great price. I really think we got more ring for our buck. Their motto of making "lifetime customers" worked for us. Gorgeous diamonds at incredible prices 4/15/2010

After looking all over San Diego and Orange County for the perfect engagement ring I found the ring and more at David and Sons! The craftsmanship and detail on my antique band is like nothing I saw anywhere else! The Diamond is the Hearts and Arrows cut and looks stunning in the setting. The friendly staff and quality of product they supply is topped with incredible value. I truly believe my fiance and I got more ring than we paid for and are so happy and satisfied. Every time I go to UTC I stop in to say hi. They make me feel welcome and clean my ring so that it's as beautiful as it can possibly be when I walk out. My family have been going to David & Sons ever since my parents got married. When it was time to pick out the perfect ring for my wife, no shopping was needed at all. I knew I would get the highest quality jewelry at the most honest, fair price available. My fiance and I have gone to David and Sons for my engagement ring, my two weddings bands, and his wedding band. We honestly could not be happier!! We were referred to David and Sons by a friend who had a wonderful experience with them, and now we can't stop raving about their work either! Their diamonds are beautiful, great quality, and fairly priced. I was able to find the perfect stone in a custom designed setting well within our budget. If you are looking for a one of a kind piece, this is the place to go! The team is so creative, they were able to create exactly what I had in mind plus more! I love how I was able to see sketches and molds throughout the design process to ensure I would be happy with the final result. I constantly receive compliments on the ring!!
