Worst

I wanted more information on specific vehicles. Dave's Auto Service could improve their service if they started up better communication regarding different options.

Pleased 9/6/2013

My daughter took her Volvo to Dave's Auto Service so I brought my Ford there. The first time, I got tires and that turned out fine so I came back for an oil change. They're very courteous and the job took longer than what they thought so they loaned me a car so I could get lunch. more

They were awesome! 9/3/2013

We have a bit of an unusual vehicle: a 1984 VW Vanagon Bus. No one else would touch it when it had transmission issues, but Dave's Auto Service was able to get the parts and fix it! It was done at a very reasonable price, as well. It was just terrific all around. more

The repair was done the way it was supposed to be done 8/30/2013

There was damage to my car's interior door handle and Dave's Auto Service fixed it for me. They were highly recommended to me. The people there were wonderful. The work was excellent. For me, they were convenient, fast, friendly, and gave me a ride back home while they worked on my car. It was a wonderful thing. I would absolutely use them again. I would recommend Dave's Auto Service. more

Would go again! 8/29/2013

Dave's Auto Service did extensive work on a classic car I own. I found them when I went to a transmission shop next door because I thought there was a problem with my transmission. Turns out, it wasn't that and they recommended me to Dave's next door. He really enjoyed the car because it was older and did a thorough inspection at a less than reasonable price. There was one component that brought me back a month later because they hadn't replaced the points on my car so it broke down. I think it was just a miscommunication but I think they could have caught it before. However, I would go to them again because they seemed appreciative of the business, loved the older car, and ran a good, clean business. more

Dave is very courteous in response to complaints and solves problems easily. I've had a lot of problems with his new office staff and therefore I will not return. more

Honest diagnostics, personal care 4/17/2013

I get honest diagnostics at Dave's Auto Service. I have been taking my vehicles their for 10 or more years and Dave always does a good job. He is willing to look for alternatives, such as using used parts, to help cut down on my expenses. I feel I get personal care from him as a customer. more

Dave's Auto Service doesn't use the easy way out of a repair, they find the best possible solution. A car dealer just goes by the book and replaces parts or whole systems. Dave's wont just replace parts, they try to make the most of what you have and fix it. They also fix things that other shops wont repair. I know that Dave's will go the next step to do what's best for me. They have the best service and a great, fair price. more

Best mechanic I have ever used 4/15/2013

Dave's Auto Service has done a lot of different things for me from mundane things to oil changes to brakes to repairs. I used to manage a fleet of trucks so I am used to dealing with mechanics and getting the best deals and this is the best mechanic I have ever used. I totally trust him, if you don't need the work he won't do it. I never worry with Dave. more

I went to Dave's Auto Service with a problem. They diagnosed it right away and got me in extremely fast. They took care of it right away, it was great. Dave's is a good place to go. I trusted the people working on my car and I thought they did a good job. more

Courteous, timely, and effective. 4/4/2013

Dave's Auto Service is good. I went in to have my gaskets replaced because they were leaking oil. I dropped the car off and the turn around was very timely (less than a day). The car runs well. They were very polite, courteous and patient in answering my questions. more

Rude and poor execution 3/28/2013

The gentleman at the counter for Dave's Auto Service was off putting and rude and the work I had done was either inadequate or not actually completed. When I went to pay and pick up my car, I was first told that my tires couldn't be aligned because they needed to be replaced- explaining that aligning them would wear them down. I replied that without aligning my tires, they would wear out even faster. When the man at the counter looked at his book, he retracted his statement and said that they had in fact aligned my car. When I took it out of the shop, my car pulled a lot to the right, indicating that they either lied and didn't align my car or they did so poorly. more

I have been using Dave's Auto Service for over 5 years now and trust Dave so much. He explains problems to me and works with me on my particular situation with my 2 Jeeps. For example, I travel frequently and have put a lot of miles on my Jeep, so I needed higher quality tires. Dave was great about working with me on that.\r more

I've been taking my car and my wife's car to Dave's Auto Service, for over a year. They have always done very good work. They are done when they say they will be and their estimates have been accurate. When additional work is needed, they notify me and let me know by how much the price will increase. I have been very impressed with them. more

Great value and service 3/18/2013

Dave's Auto Service replaced most of my vehicle. They threw on add-ins without any extra cost to me as well which was great. I have also used them for an oil change, got my car back in under an hour. Great value and service. more

After years and years of working with mechanics, one word comes to mind when describing Dave: integrity. There is a homey aspect to him, and it is easy to trust him because he is authentic. There may be places that are neater than Dave's Auto Service, and they might have a better paint job on the shop or a shinier sign, but none of that is as important as his integrity. You have to trust the person that you are working with. If the work is not perfect he will fix it. You can have a partnership for life with Dave.\r more
