Made a party for my son best time ever gret fun. The kids and adults all had a great time. Service was good everyone was friendly and helpful. The kids were buzy the entire time they never got bored. Will make my next party there. The DJ and MC they have are the best.Love Dave and Busters. more

I came here for lunch. The place is alot of fun. The food is just ok. Ive eaten here twice and food was ok both times. The atmosphere makes up for it though. Pros: Fun place Cons: Food is just ok more

Forever lame 4/20/2010

SHAME FOR LIFE!!! The pencil necked manager was clearly a Shamdangler... We had a whole birthday party planned there and they would not let the Birthday Boy in because his I.D. Expired on his birthday...he had paperwork from the DMV that clearly showed an extension and those gaylords would not let him enter, even though he does not drink. Our whole party left and none of us will ever bring our business to this ridiculous excuse for a good time...lame retards-clearly the management graduated DUMB CAMP!!! more

My son was there today for a party. He had 2000 tickets, he put them in the machine and hit done. The machine claimed he had 0 tickets. The manager looked at him, told him that he must have swiped the wrong card and walked away. This is how Dave & Busters handles their customers. My son worked hard to earn 2000 tickets and they did nothing to help him retrieve his credit. I want people to know how they rate in customer service. more

Dave & Busters have too many ammenities for a special day with your familiy, good cuisine, games, beer, and a excpetional service, I reccomend you try to be there before the 5 pm to enjoy their combos ""eat and play"". Pros: Great Food, Too much fun, family friendly more

I would not recommend eating there, you can get better food from one of the taco stands along the way. The food is over priced and the service takes and awfully long time to get your order. For drinks it is almost as much as going to a club and paying for watered down alcohol. more

What a night. Dave and Buster's is a great place to play and have some fun. You can buzz for service while you play, so you don't have to get up to get a drink. Whew. Someone really thought this through. If you get tired out and hungry the restaurant has a selection that deserves trying out. more

Fun Place for Families 9/18/2008

Dave and Busters is a great place for kids and parents. The food is great not like fast food you get at most game centers. The atmosphere is more relaxing for adults. The prize you get at the end of the night are pretty good too. more

Don't Bother Eating Here 6/24/2008

Don't bother eating here. The service was a horrible experience. The server didn't know any of the rules associated with the specials, and he was constantly trying to upsell drinks for a bigger tip, even after we told him that we just wanted food several times...annoying!!! The food was poor quality (we ordered the ribs) very fatty and the sauce was bland. Great place to get drunk and play video games, but eat before you get there. Pros: Good drinks and video games Cons: Bad service, kinda pricey more

I found this place to be a great place for adults as well as kids, the food was good and the games were alot of fun. I liked that the restaurant had a real restaurant feel and the arcade and game room was fun for all. great location and plenty of parking. more

Fun place but so-so food and service 11/22/2006

Let's face it; you're here to drink and play videogames. On these two points, D&B is fun and entertaining. A $10 cover is a bit of a putoff just to get your foot in the door. Nostalgic quarter-pumpers will be dissapointed to know that none of the videogames use coins, but rather a rechargable card with which you can put any amount of money on it and swipe to play whatever games are available. Their food didn't impress, even for bar food, and was on the expensive side. They have some booths but I would much rather come earlier to avoid the cover and to just play the games. They have some cute trinkets that you can win. more

Bad Service!!! 10/25/2006

Do not come here if you have a large group! They require that you have 75% of your group there before they are able to sit there. I went there for a B-day and they gave us a hard time because not all of our group was there, plus the waiter seemed to be annoyed because we were a large group. Cons: BAD SERVICE more

If only there was a closer one 6/4/2006

This is by far the best restaurant we have ever been to. This is the ONLY place that is a guaranteed part of ANY trip to a place that has one. The food is outstanding. The arcade is unbelievable. The price is more than competitive. We do not have one these within 6 hours of us but we manage to go 2-3 times a year. Pros: Food, Service, entertainment more

This is a grownups playground 11/7/2005

This is a fun place to go with buddies to hang out. They have good drinks, pool tables, and video games. Its hard not to find anything to do. Their prizes are also good and worth playing games for. Overall a really fun place to go, lots of variety. more

Fun times, great food 11/1/2005

The food is so good, at D & B, we find ourselves going there for the food first, the entertainment second. This place is not for those watching their budgets. The games us a point system, and you purchase a certain amount of points on a reusable power card. You then swipe the card at each game you play. Some tickets give tickets, which you turn in to credit your power card. The tickets can be redeemed for prizes, ranging from plastic pinky rings to lcd monitors. There are also several areas that can be rented out for private parties. We have held several parties in the pool table area, and the food and service has always been excellent. Good place to chill. 10/14/2005

This place is an awesome environment for friends and a chill hang out place. There are arcade games, bar, and food. Everything is somewhat pricey but the atmosphere makes up for it. On Sundays there is this deal for food + games at a discounted price, which makes it totally worth it. Customer service is top notch. more

Dave and Busters has the best arcade in the city of sandiego and they have pretty good prices, but the food isn't that good but I'd recomend it to anyone. more
