Best prices anywhere! 9/1/2010

When ever I need anything regarding computers, electronics this is the only place I go! Set up a business account and they will waive the taxes! Ask for Joey Suede and he will always take care of you - Tell him Alex sent you... I have been buying all my Mac computers and accessories here for nearly 10 years because they have the best prices and the best selection! Always in stock! I don't go anywhere else not even on the internet because I save money in shipping! I highly recommend this store with it's great staff! It was great for me 8/20/2010

I bought a SONY H20 camera in the 5th Ave store and the customer service was great. They honored the online price which was lower than the store price which i was very happy about. They changed the online price soon after however. The service people including the security guard were really pleasant. Great shopping experience overall? more

I'm datavision customer for 12 years, Buying from PC. Notebooks ,Audio Video equipemeent. All I can say is that I'm very pleased with customer service, equipements. I get more what any other store can provide on helping shoosing the product that fit my projects. the product are very compettive prices and high ends that its hard to get on known big chaine electronics stores. Even if the store that not carry the particular item, they ordered and call me to come pick up. Other electronics chaine should take Datavision as example on how to handle and create and mange good customer relation. I feel I have all firends over there.? more

Excellent service 7/27/2010

I recently went to Datavision to buy a new computer. I went in without any knowledge of what I wanted to buy. The Sales person took his time to explain all the different varieties of computers and to get something that will work with me. I couldn't take the computer home so the next day they shipped the computer for me. I highly recommend Datavision as they were very patient with me and knowledge of there products.? more

Great Customer Service 7/23/2010

I ordered a Toshiba battery. The battery arrived quickly and as described. Unfortunately, it was the wrong battery. When I called customer service, they informed me how to return the battery. My money was refunded within ten days of the return. I will continue to order computer software and hardware.? more

Excellent Service 7/21/2010

I've been shopping at Datavision for several years now and just recently bought myself a camera. I was approached by welcoming sales that assisted me right away. They guided me to the camera section which had an immense selection of all kinds. As a ametuer photographer, I knew a decent amount about cameras and was looking for something exremely particular. He knew specs of the point and shoots off the top of his head. He knew exactly which cameras used which lens to even the base F-Stops and to the max ISO settings on each. The price was lower than I've seen at most places on top. As I went to check out, I browsed the notebooks like I usually do. The sales there provided me with extensive details but weren't pushy when I told them I wasn't ready to buy yet. While I was checking out, the store manager Joey even asked how my purchase experience was and told me if I had any problems to see him personally. Datavision is definitely a full service store and one of the most professional in the business. more

A welcoming oasis 7/19/2010

My friends and i have been dealing with data vision, especially joey & robert, for about ten years. I have never had anything but a good experience there. They have the right products at competitive prices and are open long hours daily to serve the public at a very accessible location. There is a repair center on site that gets the job done. If any problem arises, joey is happy to resolve it quickly and easily. more

My years of purchasing at datavision have been well spent thanks to their managers. They showed great effort and intrest in helping me with what i need. Their knowledge on the products they are selling really helps because it makes me aware of what i am buying and its functions. I always leave satisfied and my trips to shop at datavision will never end.? more

Great gift 7/12/2010

I did not experience any of the problems mentioned in the other reviews. I called ahead, got the answer I was looking for, went in, and got the service that I wanted with no hassle or wasted time. The salesman that was very helpful was Joey Swade. He was great. He helped me pick out a great gift for my son's birthday. My son love's his new laptop. Thanks again Joey.? more

Large assortment of technology 7/9/2010

I was scheduled to go out of town in a week and found a great laptop with all the bells and whistles from Datavision! Once the item was ordered, it arrived in a few short days. I was very pleased with the prompt and timely delivery. The laptop arrived in time, so I was able to travel with my purchase and use it on my business trip. I also thought the price was very good! Since I had a great experience with the company, I will order my sons laptops for college. I will also recommend Datavision to others who are looking for great service, prompt delivery, fair pricing, and merchandise in excellent conditions. Thnx DataVision!!!!? more

I'd first like to say that Mr. Suede's professionalism was without question quite refreshing. He was very attentive to my concerns as they pertained to a problem with a VTech telephone that I had purchased some time before. He inspected the phone and when it became quite obvious that the phone was damaged beyond repair, he exchanged it without hesitation. I recently bought a cable from datavision and it broke a few weeks later. I went back in with no receipt or packaging and in spite of their no refund policy, the management was very reasonable when I explained that it was unrealistic to keep a receipt on a $7 cable, and allowed me to replace the cable with a new one no problem. This store has a limited selection of each device type that are, in my mind, slightly overpriced when compared to identical items online, but not by too much. The equipment that they cover is very wide and should satisfy most people. However, beware. Pros: Huge selection Cons: Beware more

MY FRIENDS AND I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH DATA VISION, ESPECIALLY JOEY & ROBERT, FOR ABOUT TEN YEARS. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANYTHING BUT A GOOD EXPERIENCE THERE. HORRIBLE, STAY AWAY, THE WORST IN THE CITY 3/1/2010

My guess is that this store has never had a customer shop there twice. Well, good thing NY has plenty of tourists... They should be shut down for their practices! Customer service?? what? No, customer disservice! Managers are dismal, worse than you could imagine. Great place to buy something and never need any kind of service. Although, you probably have a better chance with Ebay of buying an item that is not broken. And, just so it is clear, if you return a broken item and they don't have a replacement, it is your problem, not theirs--they ""don't do returns"". Nor do they provide you a copy of a receipt if you ask. ""It is company policy not to give a receipt""! WHAT!!!! SERIOUSLY!!! Cons: Everything... more

Worst experience EVER 10/14/2008

I brought my laptop in to be repaired. It was returned to me with additional issues. Things that previously worked are now broken. On top of that, the tech guys went through all my personal files. Awful experience. They shouldn't be in business. Cons: Awful service, unprofessional more
