I find that they have a great selection of hard to find parts and decent prices. I have a big problem with a 2 week no refund only store credit return policy. I think a refund opt...

Hands down, they're the best 5/17/2011

The only place in NY I've been buying all of my computers, cameras and other electronic equipment from DataVision for years, both for my company and for my family. Hands down, they're the best in Manhattan at educating you on your options and customizing purchases with your actual needs. Not to mention, they're REAL New Yorkers, so it's a fun experience working with them. more

Nothing less than amazing 5/11/2011

I often find myself reading reviews posted by people who frequent the same establishments as I do. I must say, as it relates to my shopping experiences at DataVision, when I read negative reviews here, it always amazes me that people believe they have had negative experiences there. Over the past several years, DataVision and its store Manager, Joey Suede have been nothing less than amazing for me. The products I need are always there. There are more than enough sales people to answer any questions I may have and usually, I'm in and out of the store relatively quickly. Nah...no complaints here and if I have an electronic need, I have no reason to ever give my money to another company. more

Very Good Customer Service Experience 5/9/2011

We live in France and went on Holidays last February 2010 in NY. We bought frw accessories for our computer in France and when we plugged in one of the memory that we bought in the shop it did not work. I contacted directly the Customer Service in NY and spoke to Joe who asked me to send him the memory as well as the copy of the invoice and he will take care of resending a new one to me. Unfortunately, the memory was not available in the shop so we had to wait around 7-10 days in order for the shop to received it. Joe was really helpfull and kept me informed all time regarding my new memory to be shipped. When he received it, he emailed me in order to get my informations in France and shipped it to me directly. I received it few days ago and it works perfectly. Thank you very much for this good Experience with Datavision. more

The best deal in NYC 5/2/2011

Best tvs/laptops/apple products in the tri -state area! A lot of people on here are bashing their service as "unfriendly". Those are the suckers. If you want the best deal you need to talk up the managers and employees and earn their respect. Once you get on their good side you realize how friendly they are and how flexible they can be on some of the hottest electronics in the game. Don't just take my work for it go in and try seeing if you make "the cut" and secure the best deal in NYC. more

Best store and best staff 4/19/2011

Wow! Joey th manager helped me and my brother pick out a new tv and netbook. Trust me this store has the widest selection of th newest and hottest electronics for a great price. But hey don't just take my word for it, go check it out for yourself and grab lunch at bryant park with the money u save! more

Sales people werent pushy or annoying 3/24/2011

Lots of mac and pc gear, some stuff you dont see in regular stores. like most nyc camera stores you have to leave your bags at the front counter when you enter. sales people werent pushy or annoying, they pointed me toward the netbook cases and left me alone. more

The price was the best that I could find on the web 3/17/2011

I purchased a Generation 5 16GB iPod nano listed by DataVision through Buy .com. After reviewing Datavision on ResellerRatings .com. I was reluctant to continue the transaction. But the purchase transaction is channeled through Buy .com and their Buy .com Marketplace Guarantee protects the purchase up to $750.00. It was a safe risk. The price was the best that I could find on the web. The purchase process was flawless. I received an order and shipping confirmation with tracking number the next day. I received the item on time. I have built realtionships with many of the sales people 3/16/2011

I shop at this store fo all of my electronic needs, and have built relationships with many of the helpfull salse people there. Let me start by saying the salesman absolutely DO NOT work on comission. So Pete Im sorry to tell you that you were incorrect on that, I have never had an issur as far as getting the wrong product from them either. So to the person who got a 2 gen i touch the reson im sure is because the 3rd gen touch only is for the larger gig moddled which could easilly be confirmed by going to apples websight. Im sure you bought a smaller gig touch which is why your replacement part didnt workm maybe you should do a little research 1 before purchasing and 2 certantly before writing incorrect slander about a store that I happen to know is one of the best in new york. Its clean, competitively priced, and offers more options for each type of product in orderto fufill the needs of each consumer and at each price range. This is a great store and i highly reccomend it if your ineed of electronis in midtown NY, or online. more

Absolutely no problems 3/3/2011

Ordered an LG HDTV on November 2nd through Amazon.com. TV was delivered via UPS on November 8th. TV was brand new in the original box, all items were included and there was no damage. TV is working great. Absolutely no problems with this seller. more
