Mark came to check my furnace on Sunday, December 15. A pressure valve was stuck which prevented the furnace from turning on. Mark replaced the valve and the furnace is now working well. Chris R arrived promptly, was extremely polite and friendly to us and our four year old granddaughter, and worked until he solved the problem of our kitchen sink leak. He explained everything he was doing to my husband, who is very interested in all aspects of home maintenance. Justin and associates from Dan Wood did great work. My furnace was installed on time and when agreed upon. They were very friendly, answered questions, and did a good job cleaning up. My only suggestion is that they warn customers about the odor from the PVC primer / glue; it smells for 3-4 days so a heads up would be nice that its gonna stink for a while. Other than that minor quibble I have absolutely no complaints. more

Our 1/2 bath toilet was leaking into basement. Upon 1st visit, technician could not find leak (but did see spot on floor), so offered to come back w/o additional service charge if leak showed again. One day later, toilet started leaking again and showing in basement. Called Dan Wood Co. and they reponded promptly that same afternoon. Toilet wax ring was the culprit. Leak was not major, but needed to be repaired. Technician was professional, courteous, friendly and completed his work in a timely fashion. Was advised by him to call if a problem were to continue, but tech. didn't think we'd have any additional problem. Pricing was reasonable. Will definitely call upon Dan Wood Co. when needed for plumbing work and will recommend them to friends and neighbors. more
