1) Did the required work right the first time and then 2) diagnosed/fixed problems we weren't aware of at a reasonable price...and especially telling us there were other potential issues in the future but that "if it isn't broke, don't fix it". more

Very professional; the problem was bigger than could be solved in an hour but Tommy took the time to explain the problem to the condo building manager and the condo plumbing company; both Tommy and Rachel were very efficient and professional; also very friendly and courteous more

Install of water heater 11/3/2016

Jennifer was very professional and kept us informed of the date and time the work would be done. Chris is very professional and did an excellent job on the install of the new hot water heater and explaining everything that was done. We are very pleased with the professionalism of both the employees for DB Plumbing and would recommend them to anyone who needs work done correctly the first time. Job Well done!! more

DB's Plumbing & Drain - Highly Recommend 10/27/2016

On a Friday afternoon, just prior to a three day holiday weekend, we had an issue with a rapidly leaking water pipe. We had to have the issue resolved quickly or the whole basement would have flooded. Called several plumbers who told us they would not be able to get it until after the holiday. Then we called DB's Plumbing & Drain, told them the problem, they were at the house in less than an hour and fixed the leak. They were extremely responsive and professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone with plumbing needs. more

David was great. He gave an estimate on Friday and had a crew there Monday morning to replace a sewer line. It was a complicated job and he had the equipment and dedicated workers to get the job done in one day. more

Tommy explains everything clearly and answers all questions before starting the job, and makes suggestions for future care. DB gives 110% on every job 9/19/2016

Tankless water heater is a Ferrari and due diligence is challenging. Called my local heating guy....no joy; cannot handle this; service call $69. Called the manufacturer and given a number in Richmond, VA. The Richmond folks referred me to Nokesville, service call $60. Identified coild problems and a leak which they told me had sealed itself. I saw the dripping water. Decided to replace the unit and recalled DB, who is my usual plumber. Turns out they do install these units. Dave and Tommy came, assessed, made a plan. Ordered new heater, installed it with proper plumbing. Gave me a tutorial and now I understand maintenance. No one, from initial installation to now had ever told me the unit needed deposits from hard water removed!! The best thing about DBs is that, not only do they know how to fix a complex problem, they bring the homeowner in as part of the team to minimize future problems. Trustworthy? Replaced toilet shutoff valve 9/6/2016

Second time DB and Tommy has serviced us. I love 'em. Tommy is competent, courteous, knowledgeable, and on time. He explains what is wrong/what he needs to do. There are no surprises. His work is outstanding. I'm very happy that I found DB's. My wife is even happier because I respect them and won't hesitate to call on them. more

Tommy arrived on time (how rare is that with other providers?). They are all knowledgeable -- the person on the phone answered my question I had right away regarding what seemed to be a hole in the pipe for the sump pump. I would use them again more

They handled 2 problems for us: 1. Emergency night call with fixing the toilets, 2. Replacement of the water heater found leaky during the first job. Both jobs were done well. Thank you. more

DB's replaced the water line to the house. Although equipment problems from their boring sub-contractor delayed the start of the job, Chris stayed to make sure everything was done correctly and that all the work was completed that night. His professionalism was a credit to the team at DB's Plumbing. more
