Sequence of events

I had an issue with my water heater. Checked out yelp for plumbing services around the area. And, DB plumbing showed up. Sent an email through yelp and got a call back from DB plumbing
Scheduled time for diagnosis.
The contractor showed up on time.
He mentioned the dispatch/diagnosis charge is $130 for half hour.
Something that took me by surprise. Wasn't notified during the scheduling call.
Had to pay that given I had no choice.
Given the over priced charge, I didn't want to continue with the contractor.
Contacted another company Marine Plumbing Service, he had performed the same diagnosis for $30.
I'm extremely disappointed and feel cheated with the process.
