Beware of SCAM ARTISTS 10/12/2011

Absolutely horrendous job! First they told us on the phone it would be 129.00 to snake out our backed up drain. But then once they got here, did one little extra thing and told us at the time for us to settle up with the bill that it would be an extra 60.00 on top 129.00. TOTAL SCAM! We called, spoke to the owner/Mgr. and he said he would give us the 60.00 back because they never informed us on the phone OR in person. Still waiting on the check, it has been weeks. We've called and heard nothing. Our basement flooded again by the way. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE, never ever ever ever recommend or use this company again and we were a return customer. more

NEVER AGAIN 7/12/2010

I have nothing good to say about D.J.Murray Plumbing.The man that came out to snake my main line wrote om the receipt that there were heavy roots ; I have a hard time believing that when i didn't see him pull out any roots on his snake. Then after 6 days I had the same problem and called them back to see if they could come back out , they told me that they don't guarantee their work ( opposite of what they tell you in the yellow pages) and that it would cost another 130.00 dollars. What a sham company NEVER AGAIN more

This place does not know how to do business. First of all, plumber was 2 hours late, which ok, maybe an emergency came up, but call! Then, he never came back to finish the job or even bothered to call me back after 3 phone calls! I would NEVER use them again! more

Honest and reliable! 3/10/2010

I would definately recommend this company to anyone who needs an honest, reliable plumber! I called them because I was having a problem with my sewer backing up, they quickly responded, with knowledge & reasonable rates. They even put this camera in my sewer to show me the tree roots that were causing my sewer to back up. And after cleaning my sewer they showed me that my sewer was free and clear! So if you need a plumber this is the company to call!!! more

Wouldn't Use Anyone Else!! 10/6/2009

I have used this company for years and trust me if you are thinking of using them you will not be disappointed. I own many rental properties and Murray does the plumbing work on all of them. I wouldn't trust anyone else. They have always been professional and courteous to me and my tenants and there prices are very reasonable. more

D J Murray Plumbing is HORRIBLE 6/24/2009

This company gave me quote, made an appointment with me for 4 days later, never showed (after I waited for 3 hours), called later that night, didn't apologize, and rescheduled for the following day. THEN, the next day, they called to say that their boss told them all of a sudden that they didn't service my area anymore and if I wanted the service I would have to pay $100 more than originally quoted. They didn't hold true to their quote, suddenly decided not to service, didn't fulfill their commitment to their customers, and all of a sudden wanted $100 more (almost doubled the price of the service)!!! They are SO unprofessional, rude, and could care less about customer service. Do NOT use this low class company. In this economy, people who value customer service should succeed, and selfish companies like this should be the ones out of business. more

Timely, competitively priced and helpful advice 10/30/2006

I called on D J MURRAY PLUMBING & SEWER SERVICE on a Friday morning after a flooded basement problem, and someone was here by lunchtime. Using a camera they were able to show me a problem with roots in the main sewer line, and scheduled a follow-up on Monday morning to correct the situation - the follow-up crew was here on-time as promised, digging up the necessary section of the main sewage line and correcting the problem very quickly < 2 hours. They provided helpful advice on this and related plumbing issues. Their price for digging up the line, replacing ~10ft of line and adding a clean-out tap was competitive according to neighbours and colleagues that have had the same problem recently. I will definately use them again. more
