The serviceman, Frank, who came to my house was exceptional. I'd give him a 5+ star rating. But from the company, I don't think I got enough information on my water heater before they replaced it the same day I called.
Cupertino Plumbing didn't give me the kind of information to tell me about the size of my water heater and whether it would be worthwhile to explore other options that might cost more money. A water heater is a long term commitment, so I'd rather have no water for one day and do the extra work to measure everything beforehand and choose a different heater.
The one I got takes up too much floor space and it's caving my laundry tub. It's the same model as before, but something changed obviously, and I didn't have enough information. I came across as knowing what I was doing when I spoke to them, but I wish I could have gotten the information to be able to measure beforehand.
Also, they didn't give me information on the emergency outdoor tubing thing. How did they know I didn't that? When I said I wanted to get a permit for it, they told me it wouldn't pass, so now I have a PVC homemade job, which is probably safe, but I wanted other options to choose from and felt like I wasn't given enough.
They were otherwise very professional. The serviceman Frank, I would hire 1000 times over on my own.
