As an Italian, I must say 8/7/2002

As an Italian, I must say this place is great. We usually go at lunch time so its not crowded at all. We get a seat right away. The parking leaves a lot to be desired though. The spaghetti and meat balls are the best we have ever had. My entire family love it and go on all special occasions and anytime we can get there. We have tried many many Italian resturants but have never found one we liked better anywhere in the country. Cons: not enough parking more

Thrill on the Hill 8/7/2002

To start, Cunnetto's has a great atmosphere for everyone. From the friendly staff to the comfortably decorated lounge and restaurant, the feeling of home is always present. And to top things off, the food is excellent. Whether its an appetizer, pasta, seafood, or dessert, you'll not find a poor selection on the menu. Enjoyable 8/6/2002

The key is to arrive early and wait in line, but the food is very well worth while once seated. They have a call ahead service that really doesn't work too well though. more

Overrated and overcrowded 7/29/2002

Cunetto's Restaurant is okay, if you want to be seen by political figures and the well-to-do. There is almost always a 45-60 minute wait, with minimal bar space for waiting. The food is good, but nothing spectacular. There are other places on the Hill that offer the same quality of food without the wait. more

Absolutely incredible food. The salad was great, the pasta was extraordinary (probably the BEST I've ever had -- that's saying a lot). Pros: Best Italian in STL, Great value, Excellent service Cons: tight parking more
