I went to Culver Automotive specifically because I looked on the internet for a place that was close by because I knew I couldn't take my car very far, their reviews were all 4 and 5 stars and I was not disappointed. First of all, Dimitry comes across as very honest. When you are getting your car repaired its usually a very stressful situation and he immediately puts you in a position that (A) the problem is going to get taken care of and (B) you're not going to get ripped off.
He is truthful. For instance, I took my Dodge Magnum in and he fixed the problem but he said, "Okay, you've got X, X, and X coming on the horizon," and two weeks later it happened just as he said it would. It turns out he was so confident that I would be back that he had already ordered t he parts and knew I was coming back to get it done and so it only took a day to fix it. That's just unbelievable! He offers more than most people do and lends you a loaner for free. I've gotten to use a BMW and Jeep Cherokee, they're older models but it's still free!
His demeanor really puts you at ease and you don't mind dealing with him. I like the confidence that he said "I knew you were going to come back." He's a human being and has sympathy, saying, "I know you didn't want to come in today and spend $1500." Last time I was in there he got me ready for the next thing too so I have definitely altered my car usage and driving habits to prolong the inevitable but at least I know what's coming.
