We have taken our pets to Dr. Guertz for almost 30 years. He has always been knowledgable, compassion and highly competent. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. more

Dr. Guertz = Imbecile 1/8/2013

If you love your pet, do not take it to Dr. Guertz. He is an imbecile who will do more damage to your loved pet than good, and he will charge you for doing it. He broke my little shih tzu's jaw when we took it in to get his teeth cleaned, then he tried lying about it. Do Not Take Your Pet To Dr. Guertz at Crossroads Animal Hospital. If you do, you've been warned! Dr. Guertz is the pinnacle reason why pet owners should be able to sue vets! He also took a throat culture of my other dog. When finished, before putting the culture q-tip back into the test tube, he dropped it on the floor. I asked, isn't that culture contaminated now? With a straight face, he looked at me and said, "No!" What a quack Dr. Guertz is!!!!!! more

Saved my dogs life !!! 4/6/2011

I came to Crossroads in 1996 with my dalmation who was in severe condition with a bladder and kidneys full of stones, he had total blockage and couldnt even urinate, Dr Guertz was the only Vet that was qualified and willing to do the delicate surgery my dalmation needed in order to save his life. It was successful and I was 100% satisfied. I have been there ever since, I now have two labs and continue to take them to crossraods for all there needs. I recommend Crossroads Animal Hospital to all my friends and family. He is extremely caring and knowledgeable in everything he does. more

Satisfied 12/14/2010

I really liked Dr Geurts. I got a brand new puppy back in August and he had a problem with his sinus track and Dr Geurts found the problem and fixed it that day. He is a kind and compassionate man and I can't say enough about the staff either. I must have called at least a hundred times in the first few weeks I had my boxer and Sally and Jody took each one of my calls without hesitation or being irritated. I will continue to take my boxer to this clinic as long as he is still practicing. more

Very good 12/7/2010

I think CrossRoads is a very nice little clinic. Never have had any issues bringing my cats here..They always seem to be able to get me an appointment when needed. Also the prices are reasonable. more

Very Caring and Knowledgable 9/27/2010

Dr Guertz is very nice and knowledgable. The Assistants are also very nice and caring. Dr. Guertz identified my cats problem right away. Unfortunately it was kidney failure. My cat was brought in a couple times a week for fluids to help her kidneys function and the assistants did a great job with her. Kidney failure is progressive and incurable. When it came time to euthanize her they were extremely empathetic and squeezed us in to their schedule. They even sent me a sympathy card :) We will be getting a couple kittens soon and will be going back to crossroads for their care. They are wonderful! more

My Experience 4/24/2006

I have two dogs and have been with Crossroads Hospital for the last 3 years. Dr. Guertz and his staff have always been very professional and serious when do their jobs. Dr. Guertz is a caring Vet. Always honest with the pets owner. Unfortunately I lost my one dog on March 1 due to him eating something he shouldn't have ate and it killed him. Dr. Guertz did everything he could possibly do to save my dog. Unfortunately he left us. \r \r When I went there to say good-bye the staff were so supportive, as was Dr. Guertz. We couldn't ask for a better Vet then Dr. Guertz. Thank you Dr. Guertz and staff your great! PROS: friendly, knowledgeable, caring CONS: more

cost effective 6/24/2005

I guess with this vet if you are a dog you have it made and if you have the money to spend your going to spend it. This is the best way to say it. He is a very effective vet when you have a very gentale dog that is quite and likes vets but not all people have that. Also many people go there because they can afford him but that does not always meen your getting the best of care!! He also does a clinic for shots at a reduces fee at PETCO on saturdays and this is not always much better as your pet is not getting a check up be fore a shot so think about that first. Sometimes you get what you pay for and something to pnoder is why is my pet still sick after I gave him that medicaine that I paid all that money for and now I need more test but still not better!!! PROS: cheep, CONS: cheep does not always meen good more
