It is difficult to rate Critter Doctor, 5/11/2012

It is difficult to rate Critter Doctor, because everyone besides Bernstein is kind and amazing. However, she has been difficult to work (unfriendly, cold, and spoke down to me) with the two appointments I have had with her. Although I adore Dr. Alt and the rest of the staff, I will be collecting my animals records and using the services of another vet in the future. It is unfortunate that the clinic has to suffer in its ratings on many sites due to Bernstein alone. more

I wouldn't trust anyone else... 10/30/2008

to take care of our dear girls, except Dr Wendy Bernstein. \r We have referred many friends along the way and everyone is extremely pleased with them.\r They are very understanding, helpful and knowledgable.\r Of course they get expensive, but that is what comes along with pet ownership--but they make it worth while with their friendly faces and honesty.\r I would never go to another Vet. Dr Wendy is amazing. more

Avoid this place! 10/10/2006

This place is so over priced. I just moved here and chose Critter Doctor by the recommendations on City Search. My pet went in for his castration and they charged me $400! Stay far far away. Pros: Location Cons: Very expensive. more

Caring and understanding staff 8/4/2006

My cat was ill and I was looking for an affordable veterinarian on the Eastside. (My previous vet was no longer affordable!) I ended up finding the Critter Doctor. I called to make an appointment and explained my cat's symptoms to the receptionist. That evening, one of the doctors called me back to say that my cat needed to be seen as soon as possible. She recommended bringing her in the next day. I thought it was great that the doctor reviewed appointments to assess situations. Unfortunately, my cat didn't recover and had to be put down. I had a long advisory session with one of the doctors and she frankly and kindly explained the situation. When the time came to put the cat down, the staff was very kind and they even made a keepsake pawprint plaque of my cat's foot. more

Critter Doctor Spring 2006 5/15/2006

Very good Doctors - I have been using them for both my cat and my dog. I have also boarded my cat with them. All satisfactory experiences. They seems caring and very knowledgable. Pros: Good Parking Cons: Expensive/ Average more

A wonderful vet 9/14/2005

Dr. Bernstein and her associates are skilled, compassionate and helpful. They really explain everything you need to know about caring for your pet. Plus, in my opinion, the prices are very reasonable. The office is friendly and clean. You can't ask for more. more
