Let me start out by saying... i am a terrible patient. I flinch when water is shot in my mouth, I cringe at the sound of the drill, I work myself up into a panic during cleanings... i'm a big baby. On my first visit I expressed that to Dr.Kristi and she worked very hard to make sure I was comfortable... even if that means spending more time on my first appointment. I love the Hygienists and Cludia who run's the front. This is really just a great Dentist with the best staff. It will take about 10 dentists to match the quality, technology and care that Dr Kristi has provided me through her dentistry! Thank you so much Dr. kristi . more

I want to thank Dr. Kristi Crispin for the exceptional dental treatment I received. I have complete confidence in her knowledge of diagnosing and treating any type of dental related problem anyone may have. I was impressed with how thorough she was in explaining the treatment I needed as well as what my options were and what I may need in the future. She was very caring and gentle which is of great concern for me as it is for most! I came from the East Coast and found Dr. Kristi Crispin thru the Tufts Alumni and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry web site. Upon visting her office I felt like I was in a happy family atmosphere. I had a great CT scan which had never been done before, had an oral cancer screening with a light which had never been done before and had never heard of these procedures. Upon my third appointment Dr. Kristi made a diagnosis that helped my pain and eased my mind about my oral health. She is very thorough and I am happy with her treatment. Personally, I find it amusing to look at some of the lesser positive reviews... Clearly some of these people have an axe to grind and it's really hard to believe that they're being fair and honest. Look, I'm as concerned about my oral hygiene and smile as anyone else who lives in LA and I can say without a single doubt that there is no better place in the country to receive dental care than with Dr. Kristi or Dr. Bruce. I'm 40+ and have been through my fair share of dentists. And absolutely none of them even come close to the level of care and professionalism that I receive at Esthetic Professionals. I had a fairly complex case that required a full mouth reconstruction and there is not one friend of mine that isn't amazed at what they've been able to achieve with me. I look great (at least I think so) and I get compliments on my smile all the time. I went to Dr. Kristi and she was very communicative the entire time. She really cared about what I had to say and how I wanted to look. She walked me through the process and kept me informed every step of the way. And here's the other thing. I also shopped around. I wanted to see what other dentists in different areas within LA were charging for the same procedure and Dr. Kristi was right where I wanted to be. They weren't the cheapest (and honestly, who wants to go cheap on your own smile!!) but they also weren't nearly the most expensive. Not only that, they stood behind their work. If there's something that's clearly their fault, they're going to fix it. I'm happy to say that my procedure went as smoothly, even more so, as possible. So anyone who's saying that the only thing they care about is the look of their office, doesn't know what they're talking about. At least in my opinion. more

THEY are the WORST dentists. Crispin has designed a beautiful office but don't let the architecture fool you. His work is sloppy and careless and his attitude is arrogant. He has his own lab but will NOT guarantee his product; he saves money by cheating his clients out of a guarantee. He does not stand behind the quality, shape or the color of their crowns. Every other dentist stands behind their work. Every other dentist works with their patients and if you’re not happy you can go to the lab or a meet with a colorist to insure the color is perfect. If a crown breaks it is replaced, the Crispin’s merely file down the crown to a smooth shape even though half of the crown has broken away. He spends more time matching the marble in the bathroom than on the patient he is sending out into the world. I spent $35,000 with these dentists and almost every crown or veneer has cracked or fallen off. I had every crown replaced with them and within 2 years every single crown has broken. His solution is to pay him again and he will fix it. He cemented my lower crowns and veneers in without my viewing and they were an entirely different color than I had selected. The only solution he offered is that he would make the top teeth lighter. Now for the rest of my life my lower teeth are darker than the upper teeth. Many other dentists have looked at his work have attempted to rectify this substandard dentistry but it would require another huge investment. I still have another 28 years of a loan payment on my house to pay for this horrible work. I have had crows for thirty years that did not break. Right now I have 7 crowns in a row that have broken, one entire tooth that broke away and a crown that has sheared in half. That is only right now, I have fixed many other mistakes. They think if they make a pretty office for themselves that they will fool everyone to think they are quality dentists. The only impression that people are getting is from the work that they send their patients out into the world with. I tell everyone to GO TO TIJUANA BEFORE YOU USE THIS OFFICE. After his daughter cost me the use of the right side of my mouth, I went there to make an appointment with Bruce Crisipin. I was threatened with police if I didn't leave the premises.\r Cristy will talk you into a full mouth reconstruct and take good teeth out to do it. That is how I lost the use of my right side. It will cost me at least $6000. to correct her mistake and to be able to eat a good meal again. I went there for a cleaning and a consult on my four front teeth and now I have lost the use of the right side of my mouth. Because she withheld information, the dental board of california dismissed my case. Very unethical. Pros: place is spotless Cons: watch out!!Lady has a temper and will unleash it. more

I went to her for a consult on my four front teeth and a cleaning. I had no problems and no pain. It was time to do a cleaning. They cleaned them and told me they were surprisingly clean after five years, no pockets deeper than 3. She told me I came in just in time and that I needed lots of work. Sold me on the idea of doing my whole mouth. I balked and told her that would be too expensive, lets do what is needed (i was disabled and out of work). She convinced me to do it because by teeth would be good for ten years. so I agreed. She took my whole mouth apart. when we got to the lower molars on the right side, she took them out because she did not like the color. She jabbed the area several times with anesthetic and It wouldn't numb so then she blocked the nerve and pulled off the crown. When I went to get my bridge, it wouldn't fit! There was Necrosis(what she and her dad called it) in the area. She wanted to make me another bridge but they lost the molds. Once again. Another bridge was put on, the whole time I was complaining to her that something felt wrong there. She would not listen to me. She kept saying that it is fine, it is your condition! (fibromyalgia). After her vacation and birthing she called me in. She was horrified at what she saw. exposed bone under her new bridge . She sent me to Rodica Grasu for gum surgery & she sent me to Dr. Namazikhah for a root canal. Back to Crispin now who is very upset and angry with me. She called the said doctors and they advised her to remove a bone chip from the area and prognosis poor! She also tore a live lump of the tip of the of my tongue at that time when I asked her about it. she terrorized me and lied to the dental board of california (they dismissed the case) and threatened me with police when I went to make an appointment for the section of teeth I was missing as a result of her negligence. Very mean and nasty, very heavy handed. I am searching for an attorney but because It is one tooth my anchor tooth, and the board dismissed the case, It doesn't seem to be worth their time. However, I want to do my best to inform the public that some unqualified and greedy dentist use the full mouth overhaul to make quick money. They are doing things that they are not entirely qualified to do. If You see krispin's elaborate office, you would know why they have to do what they did to me to pay for all of it. It will cost me another ten thousand dollars to fix my mouth. I can not afford it. The partial that I got, looks okay but I still can not chew on that side because it hurts so much. I have not been able to have a solid meal in over a year now. I had no problems before! So much for prevention. The Crispins run a school for teaching dentists cosmetic dentistry. Their offices, equipment and on-site laboratory are state of the art and spotless. Very impressive. My interview and examination with Dr. Kristi Crispin was very personal, professional and I felt 100% satisfied and confident in her abilities to do what I wanted done. I went through a multivisit procedure to be able to participate in their discount program as a patient for their students. This amounted to approximately $16,000 to $20,000 worth of veneers, bridgework and general dentistry for less than $9,000, but work being done by a dentist learning to do this work under the immediate supervision and guidance of Drs Crispin(2), Kristi and Bruce. I PAID FOR X-RAYS, MOUTH MOLDS AND DENTAL PLANNING EXAMINATIONS AND APPOINTMENTS. I was in the very final stage of getting ready to be assigned a dentist when I had multiple major run-ins over the phone with the clinic's financial services ""director"" who seemed to believe I did not have the money for the work. WORSE, he chased me around via phone calls trying to get me to sign a ridiculous document waiving all my rights to complain about whatever they might do to me if I began the program. I HAVE HIS E-MAILS TO PROVE THIS. I don't think the Crispins know about this ass on their otherwise impeccable staff, but someone should tell them. I GUESS I AM DOING THAT HERE AND NOW. END RESULT: I dropped out, kept my money and plan to get my dental work done in Latin America... because of THIS JERK. I give the Crispins Esthetic Professionals Clinic 5 stars... But this one employee cost them MY business AND a star here. I don't know how many other patients have walked away because of the lousy attitude of this guy. He seemed to especially dislike my being an older woman. He was obnoxious: They shouldn't let him talk to people. I have been coming to Dr. Kristi Crispin for almost two years now and my teeth have never looked better! I was having doubts about my last dentist and came here on a referral from a friend and I am SO glad I did! My last dentist missed detecting several cavities and Dr. Kristi was not only able to repair them, but saved me from needing more invasive work later, had I not caught them in time. Her office is pristine and clean and I love all the high tech equipment they use. This is by far the most professional and progressive dentist I have ever seen.
