NEGLECTFUL DOCTORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THEY NEED THEIR LICENSE REVOKED!!\r Did not care for my shitzu dog with care or compassion what so ever. Dr. Santini just stood there and looked at me and said what do you want me to do for him? whats wrong with him? my dog almost fell off the exam table cause he didnt even care that he was trying to get to me. my dog has herniated discs and had he recommended the correct treatment 6 months ago. my dog would probably not be going in for surgery today because his hind legs are now paralyzed. The staff is idiots that lack any sort of emotion and they seem like they are all in space. THEY ABSOLUTLEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET!!!!!! THEY WILL PUT YOUR PET IN A WORSE SITUATION IF YOU LET THEM BE TREATED HERE. I ABSOLUTLY HATE DR. SANTINI WITH A PASSION. MY HEART BREAKS THAT I KEPT GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE. I NOW HAVE READ OTHER COMMENTS AND NOW I REALIZE MY GUT INSTINCTS WERE RIGHT. more

The service provided by this clinic is negligent and absolutely unacceptable. My fiance and I recently took her cat in for an unknown illness. They did a general exam, took blood work, and sent us on our way without explaining a single thing to us. A couple days later we received a call from them saying the blood work revealed he had a form of liver disease. They prescribed an antibiotic, told us to continue it for a week or two, and that's it. Again, no explanations for anything. We gave him the first weeks dose of antibiotics, but didn't feel comfortable returning or continuing service through Creekside because we noticed his condition worsening after starting the medication prescribed. So we went to Hunter Animal Hospital instead for another checkup and second opinion on the blood work. They did a thorough exam, explained every detail about his condition and made sure we understood everything before leaving, and gave us a proper treatment plan for his condition which has given immediate and positive results. Today I picked up another dose of the same antibiotics from Hunter Animal Hospital and found out that the first dose we received from Creekside was rotten.. literally rotten. Not only was the treatment plan Creekside gave us insufficient to fix his liver disease, but the medication they prescribed and gave to us was rancid. Please read reviews on this clinic before you take your pets in. There are much better clinics in the valley who will give your pets the treatment and care they need and deserve. more

Only the best for your best friend! I moved here 1 year ago and was in search for a great doctor for our 10 year old weimaraner. Well I found just that, Dr. Orr and his staff are, by far, the best at what they do! Our Weim is older and has some health issues and I feel so much better knowing that he is in such good hands! Plus they also have a boarding facility right behind the hospital so when we vacation our mind is at ease knowing that he is being taken care of properly, I am actually dropping him off today for a 2 week stay!! If you are in search of an excellent doctor/friend for your best friend then search no more you have found it! more

This is one of the worst vet I have ever been to with the worst bedside manner. I had to rush my dog here being that it was the nearest vet. My dog was injuried and Dr. Orr didn't care, money was his main concern. When I first arrived, Dr. Orr went straight to his computer before acknowledging my dogs condtion to tell me how much it was going to cost. I told him I had pet insurance and they will cover the costs. He then looked at my dog and took him into another room. My dog was yelping and screaming. Dr. Orr wouldn't allow me to follow him to ensure my dog was getting proper treatment which seemed very fishy. He wouldn't even clean my dogs open wounds he said that I could clean them when I got home. I didn't have any form of payment with me and I told Dr. Orr I would call him when I arrived home to make a payment and about 15 mins after arriving to my home Dr. Orr showed up on my door step demanding a payment. He stated that it was a red flag that I didn't have anything with me. I just rushed my dog to you because he was injured I didn't double check to make sure I had my purse with me. Please save yourself time and use another vet who cares. No animal or person should be treated so disrespectfully. more

Stuck up and rude 4/7/2012

I have been going here for about 5 years, and today was the last time I will be going back. My dogs have been seeing doctor Orr and today they saw Dr. Schiffer what a HORRIBLE and Condesending attitude. She said everything we have done for the dogs is no good. I might see Dr. Orr again but NEVER Dr. Schiffer. more

Kind and compassionate staff 6/28/2011

I moved to Utah a few months prior to coming to Creekside Animal Hospital with my 14 year old Golden, who had cancer and heart failure. It became obvious she had no quality of life and was in a lot of pain. I took her to a vet that was close to my house and had a horrible experience. So I brought her to Creekside after a referral. Everyone was very nice and compassionate and let me spend all the time I wanted with my little girl during and after she died. It is so hard to make the decision to put your loved one down and they made it as easy as it could possibly be. I only give four stars because of the cost, but the staff were all great and I will be taking my other dog there from now on. more

I have a domestic pig, Dr. Orr is the only veterinarian in Utah that deals with pigs. On day she had a hernia on her belly and needed it removed, I was calling all over Utah even around the U.S to find a pig vet. I came across Creekside and was very relieved. yes, its a little pricey but well worth it. more

Beautiful Surroundings 9/24/2009

I boarded my dogs here for about a month while my family moved and i was very worried about what would happen. We moved from WA to UT and i hadnt even seen this place in person. I showed up and was amazed how green and clean everything was! The outside looked great and they happily took me on a tour of the boarding facility. The gal showed me every room and how they go about their daily routines each day. It was very clean and oragnized. The cages are big and they even play music for the dogs. They also said that i could visit whenever i wanted. They were even happy to accomadte me coming on sunday when they're not normally open so my kids could visit our dogs as all. After a month we finally picked our dogs up and they looked great! They were not depressed and they had even got a free bath. These gals went out of their way to make our transition easy and keep our dogs happy. We are going out of town again soon and i'll be bringing them back to Creekside. Along with some treats for the staff! Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more

They are the finest in the SLC area for Birds & Exotics! 2/19/2009

I have numerous ""different"" pets, like snakes, bunnies, ferrets, and birds. These people not only treat them but treat dogs and cats as well. They are knowledgeable and will take the time to explain EVERYTHING to you!! I don't want to go to a vet that has only seen 2 bunnies and is still ""practicing"" on mine. Plus I can take my cat and dog there and have one-stop shopping. The doctor is wonderful, the staff is never too busy to answer questions and the prices are reasonable. Also, they have a boarding facility. The place smells clean and the technicians are not some weirdos like at some places. I highly recommend them to people who just have dogs and cats and not exotics. Go, Bird and Exotic!! I'm happy you're here! Pros: Exotics, loving, caring staff more

Great Animal Care!! 2/9/2008

My family searched for a veterinarian that could treat our snake. Other places that said they saw exotic pets seemed to just be experimenting with different treatments. We were so happy when we found the Bird and Exotic All Pet Hospital. They are extremely experienced with exotics and even diagnosed what was wrong with our python who is doing great now. Their new boarding facility is super and our dogs love going there. I would highly recommend using these veterinarians and their facility!! Pros: Everyone is very nice!! more

No stars at all if possible 1/17/2008

Late one night we had to rush one of our animals to a pet hospital. When we called this place with the emergency the voice mail gave us an emergency number to call. When we called that number, they didn?t even have an exotic pet doctor in until the next day. We took him to Cottonwood Animal Hospital (5 stars) that sees our dogs because they were willing to see him in this emergency. They did the best they could with him up but advised us to call an exotic pet vet the next day. When we called this place, the person who answered would not talk to us at all. She kept saying that all she could do was make an appointment or give us a brochure with information. As we were not even sure he needed an appointment we didn?t want to spend the money to come in. We had just spent a few hundred at the ER and just wanted to talk to a doctor about what had happened. We ended up calling Cottonwood Animal hospital's sister company, Mountain View, who took the time to talk to us and answer our questions. Our little animal was then hospitalized and got the care he needed ? with no thanks to this place. We will be going to the other place from now on. We had been a client of theirs for 5 years and will never be back. We also recommend that all of our friends with exotic pets never frequent this place. Cons: Rude and uncaring more
