These guy financed a vehicle for me 5 years ago, gave me a credit card and I've made all payments on time every month. I traded that vehicle in and now all of the sudden they refuse to finance the new truck. WTF?? This is how they treat a customer of 5 years, guess these idiots are going to loose out on $40 grand cause they had their heads up their A**es. I'll be closing that account and taking my money over to Meritrust Credit Union being as how they financed it for me with out sh**ing on me like Credit Union of America. \r \r Thank you for nothing Credit Union of America. more

Don't use this Credit Union unless you want to give away your money! They have charged me more NSF fees than I ever would have thought possible! They enter your withdrawals on the ledger and while it shows that you still had money in your account, they charge you a NSF fee! Then, when you ask them about it, they say even though you can't see it, you didn't have enough money in your account to cover the withdrawals! They are slow, you always have to wait in a long line, their managers and loan officers are rude, please just don't use this credit union, I know that I regret it and I've been a member for 8 years! more

Credit Union of America is THE worst credit union I haver EVER used and I was in the military and have used my fair share. We were banking with First Choice CU for over 20 years. They were purchased by Credit Union of America. The service went from wonderful to horrible. We kept the account while we moved twice to different states. CU of A hired a third party security for suspicious transactions. I had my card turned off numerous times even though I called to tell them I would be traveling. Unless you are the primary, you'd better keep their information with you because you're a second class citizen. They will not turn YOUR card on unless you have this information. It doesn't matter if you spoke to this provider yesterday and the CU. The CU said there is NOTHING they can do about it. Being stranded in another state with NO access to your money is fine with this credit union. They should be a bank. They have ZERO customer service skills. more

Horrible Bank. They will take money out of your account without your knowledge because they feel like it would be in your best interest. If you happen to be 31 days behind on a loan payment they will lock your account so that no transactions can be made, even if you have made a payment agreement. The branch manager is always too busy to speak with you. We are moving our accounts and will not recommend them to anyone. more

have been with CUA for 5 years. Typically they are pretty good. I just moved to California and I have kept the, because I can use shared banking. Today that went very wrong. I have two accounts with CUA. A business account and a personal account. One of my customers made a deposit in a shared institution because they forgot to mail my check. I have made numerouse desposits and the funds have always been available with the exception of one time. Today I am traveling back to KS for work and I call because my debit card gets declined. The Manager of the downtown branch "Joey" tells me unless I can fax him a copy of my check he won't release anything. I explained I was travelling and I did not deposit the check myself and he said too bad I have no idea what the check it and I am not just going to give you credit for a deposit at a shared branch. The guy was rude and unprofessional. I asked for his boss and he smuggly told me and I explained once again what the check was for and the same check had been deposited each month for 8 months. He said old well I can't help you. So I am driving to KS so that I can speak with his boss in person. That is not the way you treat a good member. I really feel like most of the people at CUA are good people and they care about thier members but if this is the manager what should I expect from the rest of the team. I am tempted to go in on Friday and shut my account down for good. more
