Creative World School

Our little guy has been in Creative World Preschools since he was 2 years old. He started at Lee's Summit and then transferred to Blue Springs 2 years ago. He now attends their kindergarten program. We have been so very pleased with this preschool. Our child has an extensive vocabulary, can count to 20 in Spanish plus has a growing vocabulary in this second language. At 5, he can tell me that ""music is not just banging on the piano, music is organized sound"". He already site reads about 30 words, is learning good penmanship and proper English as well as punctuation and he's only been in Kindergarten 2 months! Definitely recommend. more

My son attended THIS LOCATION for 1.5 months roughly. He was bitten 2X - that they reported AND I found 1 more bite on his forearm (red and swollen). I kept asking what where they doing to fix this issue and WHERE where they on their policy (is this child that is bitting going to be suspended or has he/she been already) and it was like SQUEEZING BLOOD FROM A TURNIP! They wouldn't tell me much just the general proceedures that schools use to aviod these situations and not what was being done with this particular case - which I have the right to know if my child is going thru physical pain. I finally ended up calling the Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline and they did an investigation...the director accused me of calling the police and that that is what the case worker had told her. The day after the investigation (visit from the case worker), this school waited til the last minute to kick my son out of school without warning and without reason but the fact that I called so they could be investigated. They knew it was me because I told them in our meeting and I had sent them an email explaining my decision to do so a day or two before the investigation took place. This school is beautiful with lots to do and see for the children but the directors AND the biting policy are the worst I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RECONSIDER FROM TAKING YOUR CHILD HERE! If it seems too good to be true, it really is! more

The staff at CWC have been extremely open, fair, and helpful to my family. As my 2 yr old has developed, the director and teachers have been extremely supportive as she has adapted to change and has overcome some developmental hurdles. Our lives have been completely transformed! Our other child is in the elementary program now. Her teacher has been very patient and has helped our daughter learn in leaps and bounds as she has progressed through kindergarten. Our daughter now has the tools and education she needs to start 1st grade more

We've been through the infant and toddlers rooms as well as the pre-school and private elementary, they all look great! We've enjoyed all aspects and appreciate the attention our children receive in this program! more

Creative World is such a great place! My son loves coming here and has learned so much from all of the teachers. It is such a great atmosphere! more
