My son attended THIS LOCATION for 1.5 months roughly. He was bitten 2X - that they reported AND I found 1 more bite on his forearm (red and swollen). I kept asking what where they doing to fix this issue and WHERE where they on their policy (is this child that is bitting going to be suspended or has he/she been already) and it was like SQUEEZING BLOOD FROM A TURNIP! They wouldn't tell me much just the general proceedures that schools use to aviod these situations and not what was being done with this particular case - which I have the right to know if my child is going thru physical pain. I finally ended up calling the Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline and they did an investigation...the director accused me of calling the police and that that is what the case worker had told her. The day after the investigation (visit from the case worker), this school waited til the last minute to kick my son out of school without warning and without reason but the fact that I called so they could be investigated. They knew it was me because I told them in our meeting and I had sent them an email explaining my decision to do so a day or two before the investigation took place. This school is beautiful with lots to do and see for the children but the directors AND the biting policy are the worst I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RECONSIDER FROM TAKING YOUR CHILD HERE! If it seems too good to be true, it really is!
